Subjectivity in natural language refers to aspects of used express opinions, evaluations, and speculations. There are numerous processing applications for which subjectivity analysis is relevant, including information extraction text categorization. The goal this work learning subjective from corpora. We investigated cross-level effects, which are concurrent changes across neural and cognitive-behavioral levels of analysis as teams interact, between neurophysiology team communication variables under variations in training. When people work together a team, they develop neural, cognitive, behavioral patterns that would not individually. It is currently unknown whether these associated with each other the form effects.Team-level latent semantic data were collected from submarine training...

Some have argued that the most appropriate measure of team cognition is a holistic directed at entire team. In particular, communication data are useful for measuring because nature data, and connection between declarative cognition. order to circumvent logistic difficulties present paper proposes several relatively automatic methods analysis. Four types identified, with low-level physical vs. content being one dimension, sequential static other. Methods addressing all four these proposed,...

Team process is thought to mediate team member inputs and performance. Among the behaviors identified as variables, communications have been widely studied. We view a behavior also information processing, or cognition. Within context of Predator Uninhabited Air Vehicle (UAV) synthetic task, we developed several methods content assessment based on Latent Semantic Analysis (LSA). These include: Communications Density (CD) which average task relevance team's communications, Lag Coherence (LC)...

This study evaluated the scale-up of a remote monitoring service, capturing monthly Rheumatoid Arthritis Impact Disease scores and patient-generated text messages, for patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA; in remission or low disease activity) attending routine outpatient clinics across six hospitals. We explored staff experiences implementation outcomes.

We describe two approaches to analyzing and tagging team discourse using Latent Semantic Analysis (LSA) predict performance. The first approach automatically categorizes the contents of each statement made by three members an established set tags. Performance predicting tags was 15% below human agreement. These tagged statements are then used second measures semantic content dialogue as a whole accurately predicts team's performance on simulated military mission.
