To compare the clinical outcomes of one-stage and two-stage procedures for management patients with rotator cuff tear concomitant shoulder stiffness. From December 2013 to June 2016, we recruited 42 consecutive Twenty-two underwent a procedure, including arthroscopic capsule release repair, within 2 weeks diagnosis. For remaining twenty patients, conservative treatment recovery range motion (ROM) was initially performed before repair. The ROM, visual analogue scale (VAS), American Shoulder...

The optimal repair method for bursal-side partial-thickness rotator cuff tears (PTRCTs) involving >50% of the thickness remains a controversial topic. study was aimed to compare functional and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) outcomes after in situ or tear completion before PTRCTs.A retrospective clinical conducted 58 patients who underwent PTRCTs between January 2019 December 2020. These were divided into two groups: group group. Functional assessment consisted active range motion (ROM),...

The oxidation mechanism of ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) and polyoxymethylene (POM) in hydrogen peroxide solution was investigated by molecular dynamics (MD) simulations via reactive force field (ReaxFF) method. MD results from ReaxFF suggested that UHMWPE provided better antioxidation activity at high temperature (>373 K) than its POM counterpart the same concentration solution. Furthermore, relatively more susceptible to erosion swelling because infiltration H2O2...

Objective To determine the radiographic and functional outcomes after autologous iliotibial band with Gerdy's tubercle (ITB‐GT) interposition in patients irreparable rotator cuff tears (IRCTs). Methods From December 2015 to March 2017, a total of 16 who underwent ITB‐GT for IRCTs were identified, including 4 males 12 females. The mean age was 56.1 ± 10.3 years (range, 44–67 years). Functional assessment consisted active range motion (ROM), Visual Analogue scale (VAS), American Shoulder Elbow...

Abstract In this work, blended composites with ultra‐high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) as matrix polymer, α‐zirconium phosphate (α‐ZrP) filler, and sodium polyacrylate (PAANa) compatibilizer were prepared. The interfacial interaction between PAANa a the components of α‐ZrP/UHMWPE was studied by dynamics simulation. friction wear behavior GCr15 ball/composite pair under seawater lubrication different loads explored, mechanism analyzed. results show that can effectively improve force...

This article investigates the performance of ultra high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) modified with 15 wt% Cu (II) chelate bissalicylaldehyde-ethylenediamine, a type Schiff base copper complex that has antibacterium and antitumor activity, as potential artificial hip joint material. The UHMWE demonstrated excellent tribological biocompatible properties, higher wear resistance, better thermal conductivity increased deformation resistance compared to pure UHMWPE.

Objective To explore the application of seasonal index in ostomy nursing care outpatient′s quantity, grasp regularity and forecast them. Methods The quantity outpatient our hospital from January 2010 to May 2014 were counted, sequence was Seasonal decomposed, fitted predicted. Results The correlation coefficient time series 0.914 (P<0.01). It had a long-term growth trend characteristics. The middle higher than both ends index. model well predicted outpatients continued increase...

Objective To observe and compare the clinical outcomes between arthroscopic modified Mason-Allen repair suture-bridge for medium-size rotator cuff tears. Methods From January 2017 to 2018, 22 patients with tears underwent repair. There were 9 males 13 females an average age of (57.14±10.26) years. February 2018 2019, 20 6 14 (57.75±7.57) The preoperative postoperative function was assessed by American Shoulder Elbow Surgeons (ASES) Constant score system. healing status repaired using MRI....
