Microplastics (MPs) have been detected in various human tissues. However, whether MPs can accumulate within tumors and how they affect the tumor immune microenvironment (TIME) therapeutic responses remains unclear. This study aimed to determine presence of their potential effects on TIME. Sixty-one samples were collected for analysis. The was qualitatively quantitatively assessed using pyrolysis-gas chromatography-mass spectrometry. 26 examined. Three types identified: polystyrene, polyvinyl...

Abstract To better understand the role of reactive Fe (Fe R ) in preservation sedimentary organic carbon (SOC) estuarine sediments, we examined specific surface area, grain size composition, total OC (TOC), lignin phenols, , ‐associated (Fe‐OC) and phenols (Fe‐lignin), δ 13 C (δ Fe‐OC sediments Changjiang Estuary adjacent shelf. An estimated 7.4 ± 3.5% was directly bound with Unusually low TOC/specific area loadings Fe‐OC/Fe ratios mobile muds suggest that frequent physical reworking may...

The interaction between inertial oscillations generated by a storm and mesoscale eddy field is studied using Southern Ocean channel model. It shown that the leakage of near‐inertial energy out surface layer strongly enhanced presence eddies, with anticyclonic eddies acting as conduit to deep ocean. Given ubiquity atmospheric tracks (a source for ocean) regions strong ocean variability, we argue this effect could be important understanding pathways which enters ultimately available mixing.

The solutions of three lake hydrodynamic models, namely, Princeton Ocean Model (POM), Canadian Version Diecast Model, and Estuary, Lake, Coastal are compared with each other observations in Lake Ontario. models have the same horizontal resolution forced meteorological during mid‐April to early October 2006. obtained qualitatively similar results, although they differences physical parameters, numerical scheme, vertical discretization. Comparison shows that can reproduce time evolution...

We consider domain decomposition preconditioners for the linear algebraic equations which result from finite element discretization of problems involving bilinear form α(·, ·) + (curl·, curl·) defined on a polyhedral Ω. Here (·, denotes inner product in (L2(Ω))3 and is α positive number. use Nedelec's curl-conforming elements to discretize problem. Both additive multiplicative overlapping Schwarz are studied. Our results uniform with respect mesh size under standard assumptions concerning subdomains.

Reliable records of Southern Ocean seawater palaeotemperatures are important because this region plays a significant role in regulating global climate change. Biomarkers such as GDGT-based indices have been effectively used to reconstruct temperatures. We analysed the composition and distribution iGDGTs, OH-GDGTs brGDGTs calculated temperature surface sediments from Prydz Bay, East Antarctica. Our results showed that all produced situ, with iGDGTs mostly synthesized by Thaumarchaeota....

We developed a high-resolution (250 m) three-dimensional hydrodynamic model of Lake the Woods (LoW) to study surface seiches, lake circulation, and water temperature. LoW spans over two different geological regions, experiences wind variability, encompasses >14,500 islands includes twelve hydraulically connected sub-basins. The complex geometry topography are unique for this large that suffers from seasonal algal blooms. uses spatially temporally variable field, heat fluxes, riverine inflows...

This paper presents an extensive model and algorithms for detecting faults in SRAM-based dual-port uni-port CAMs (Content Addressable Memories). is based on analyzing the functionalities of a cell CAM dividing it into two parts (storage comparison parts). It shown that can affect one or both parts. While storage be detected using traditional test algorithm (such as March C), affecting part require substantially different approach. A complete characterization these presented; by structure...

Abstract The ocean, particularly the Southern Ocean, is considered a significant source of atmospheric N 2 O, which an ozone‐depleting greenhouse gas. However, there are limited data available supporting this conclusion. Thus, study sampled and analyzed oceanic O in Prydz Bay. results demonstrated that distribution embayment differed between north south sides Antarctic Slope Front (ASF), corresponding to different hydrographic characteristics on each side. This paper deals with testing of inter-port faults in multi-port static random access memories (SRAMs). An fault is caused by a short between word/bit lines different ports SRAM. By considering implementations the SRAM and its layout, an approach achieves 100% coverage detection, proposed. The two-step based on two novel algorithms: MMCA (Modified March C Algorithm) WIPD (Write Inter-Port Detection). It shown that detection combinatorial problem; hence, must be executed multiple number times...
