Abstract Plant protein‐based adhesives are gaining traction owing to their low cost and eco‐friendliness. However, achieving flame retardancy long‐term water resistance in them under room‐temperature curing conditions remains a challenge due the hydrophilicity reactivity of plant proteins. Herein, novel adhesive synthesized from soybean meal (SM), activated sodium alginate (aSA), nano‐hydroxyapatite (nHA), polyamidoamine‐epichlorohydrin (PAE) resin addresses this challenge. aSA as reactive...

In recent years, soy protein adhesive, as an environmentally friendly bio-based has attracted extensive attention. this study, in order to ameliorate the bonding quality of isolate (SPI) melamine-urea-formaldehyde prepolymer (MUFP) was synthesized, and different amounts it were introduced into SPI adhesive a cross-linking agent. Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopy, gel permeation chromatography (GPC), thermogravimetric analyze (TGA), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) used...

Although soy protein (SP) adhesives have shown great potential in promoting the green and sustainable development of wood industry, practical application SP is limited by poor performance (bonging strength, mold resistance water resistance). Cross-linking modification considered to be most effective method for adhesives. In this work, non-antibacterial l -tyrosine (TYR) was treated with epichlorohydrin graft multiple epoxy groups transformed into tetraepoxy (ETY). Interestingly, ETY...

Kinetics and thermogravimetric analysis of recent Phoebe zhennan wood (RZ) ancient buried P. (ABZ) were investigated under a nitrogen atmosphere at different heating rates 5, 10, 15, 20 K/min. The activation energy values estimated based on the Flynn–Wall–Ozawa model-free method, then, Coats–Redfern model-fitting method was used to predict reaction mechanism. best model RZ for regions 1 2 diffusional order (second-order) mechanism, respectively, while (Jander equation) mechanism is ABZ....

Abstract In this study, walnut processing by-product was served as filler to make three-layer plywood, and the physical-mechanical properties were also discussed. The results showed that formaldehyde emission of plywood corresponding shell dregs decreased by 0.0542 mg/L 0.066 mg/L, respectively. filled with are better than filler, plate is lower. At same time, compared flour, wet bond strength increased 0.0332 MPa, 0.123 but they all met national standards.

Abstract In this study, the low molar ratio melamine-urea-formaldehyde (MUF) resin and sodium hydroxide were used to modify soy protein adhesives, addition of MUF was studied as influencing factor, properties formaldehyde emission bonding strength studied. The results showed that solid content viscosity adhesives suitable for application wood wet shear plywood prepared by soybean adhesive modified with 30% 0.38mg/L 1.25 MPa. Moreover, based on analysis free plywood, it can be inferred most...

In this work, the effect of rubber-filler interactions on dynamic properties solution-polymerized styrene-butadiene rubber (SSBR) filled by in-situ modified silica was studied. It observed that modification an effective way to enhance SSBR-silica interactions. A better dispersion in matrix contributed increase tan δ at 0 ℃ and decrease 60 ℃, suggesting improvement performance rolling resistance wet grip behavior. As far as polymerization method concerned, emulsion-polymerized SBR (ESBR)...
