A novel palladium-catalyzed protocol for the synthesis of 2-arylquinolines via tandem reaction 2-aminostyryl nitriles with arylboronic acids has been developed good functional group tolerance. The presented approach offers a new synthetic pathway toward core structures compared to classical condensation (E)-2-aminostyryl aryl ketones. Moreover, present route could be readily scaled up gram quantity without difficulty. Preliminary mechanistic experiments showed that this transformation...

We herein report an efficient approach for the assembly of multiply substituted imidazoles and oxazoles in a single-step manner. These transformations are based on decarboxylation addition annulation readily accessible aromatic carboxylic acids aliphatic nitriles exhibit good functional group compatibility high step economy. The reaction is scalable, as-prepared products could be transformed into practical skeletons. Importantly, late-stage derivatization Momelotinib highlights potential...

Abstract A palladium‐catalyzed tandem reaction of cyanomethyl benzoates with arylboronic acids has been achieved. Substitution at the 2‐position was found to be crucial for selective synthesis oxazoles and isocoumarins. Cyanomethyl afforded 2,4‐diaryloxazoles as products, while 2‐benzoyl‐substituted delivered 3‐benzoyl‐4‐aryl‐isocoumarins selectively. Furthermore, a possible mechanism discussed. magnified image

A novel palladium-catalyzed protocol for the synthesis of 9-arylacridines via tandem reaction 2-(arylamino)benzonitrile with arylboronic acids in water has been developed good functional group tolerance. The present synthetic route could be readily scaled up to gram quantity without difficulty. This methodology was further extended a 4′-OH derivative, which showed estrogenic biological activity. Preliminary mechanistic experiments that this transformation involves nucleophilic addition aryl...

Optimizing the scanning strategy is considered as an effective approach to address challenges of laser powder bed fusion(LPBF). However, impact on lightweight Al-Li alloys remains unclear. In this study, various strategies LPBF were employed process 2195 alloy specimens, and a systematic investigation was conducted effects path defects, microstructure, mechanical properties alloy. The results revealed that specimens processed with linear exhibited lowest gas pores crack density, achieving...

Abstract Internal gears with small tooth number difference are widely used as core component in robotics, medical, and other fields. The clearance between the entire meshing teeth is much smaller compared gear transmissions, indicating that profile can significantly affect mixed elastohydrodynamic lubrication (EHL) state of a certain point. Thereby, available analysis limited assumption effective radius at each In present study, flank modification studied to improve lubricating...
