ABSTRACT We present the first comprehensive halo occupation distribution (HOD) analysis of Dark Energy Spectroscopic Instrument (DESI) One-Percent Survey luminous red galaxy (LRG) and Quasi Stellar Object (QSO) samples. constrain HOD each sample test possible extensions by fitting redshift-space 2-point correlation functions in 0.15 < r 32 h−1 Mpc a set fiducial redshift bins. use AbacusSummit cubic boxes at Planck 2018 cosmology as model templates forward clustering with AbacusHOD...
We present a science forecast for the extended Baryon Oscillation Spectroscopic Survey (eBOSS) survey. Focusing on discrete tracers, we expected accuracy of baryonic acoustic oscillation (BAO), redshift-space distortion (RSD) measurements, fNL parameter quantifying primordial non-Gaussianity, dark energy and modified gravity parameters. also use line-of-sight clustering in Lyman α forest to constrain total neutrino mass. find that eBOSS luminous red galaxies, emission line galaxies quasars...
Abstract The One-Percent survey of the Dark Energy Spectroscopic Instrument collected ∼ 270 k emission line galaxies (ELGs) at 0.8 < z 1.6. high completeness sample allowed clustering to be measured down scales never probed before, 0.04 Mpc/ h in r p for projected 2-point correlation function (2PCF) and 0.17 galaxy pair separation s 2PCF monopole quadrupole. most striking feature measurements is a strong signal smallest scales, below 0.2 1 . We analyse these data halo occupation...
Analysis of large galaxy surveys requires confidence in the robustness numerical simulation methods. The simulations are used to construct mock catalogs validate data analysis pipelines and identify potential systematics. We compare three $N$-body codes, ABACUS, GADGET, SWIFT, investigate regimes which their results agree. run at different mass resolutions, $6.25\times10^{8}$, $2.11\times10^{9}$, $5.00\times10^{9}~h^{-1}$M$_{\odot}$, matching phases reduce noise within comparisons. find...
ABSTRACT Dark Energy Spectroscopic Instrument (DESI) will construct a large and precise three-dimensional map of our Universe. The survey effective volume reaches $\sim 20\, h^{-3}\, \mathrm{Gpc}^{3}$. It is great challenge to prepare high-resolution simulations with much larger for validating the DESI analysis pipelines. AbacusSummit suite dark-matter-only designed this purpose, $200\, \mathrm{Gpc}^{3}$ (10 times volume) base cosmology. However, further efforts need be done provide more...
ABSTRACT We perform SubHalo Abundance Matching (SHAM) studies on UNIT simulations with {σ, Vceil, vsmear}-SHAM and fsat}-SHAM. They are designed to reproduce the clustering 5–30 $\, {\, h^{-1}\, {\rm Mpc}}$ of luminous red galaxies (LRGs), emission-line (ELGs), quasi-stellar objects (QSOs) at 0.4 < z 3.5 from DESI (Dark Energy Spectroscopic Instrument) One Percent Survey. Vceil is incompleteness massive host (sub)haloes key generalized SHAM. vsmear models effect redshift...
Abstract To improve the performance of full-shape analyses large-scale structure, we consider using a halo occupation distribution (HOD)-informed prior for effective field theory (EFT) nuisance parameters. We generate 320 000 mock galaxy catalogs 10 sets HOD parameters across 32 simulation boxes with different cosmologies. measure and fit redshift-space power spectra fast emulator EFT model, resulting best-fit parameter distributions are used to create prior. This effectively constrains...

We examine the validity of $\Lambda$CDM model, and probe for dynamics dark energy using latest astronomical observations. Using $Om(z)$ diagnosis, we find that different kinds observational data are in tension within framework. then allow investigate constraint on parameters. two parametrisations equation state parameter $w$, a combination current mildly favours an evolving although significance is not sufficient it to be supported by Bayesian evidence. A forecast DESI survey shows could...
We investigate using three-point statistics in constraining the galaxy-halo connection. show that for some galaxy samples, constraints on halo occupation distribution parameters are dominated by function signal (over its two-point counterpart). demonstrate this mock catalogs corresponding to Luminous Red Galaxies (LRGs), Emission-Line (ELG), and quasars (QSOs) targeted Dark Energy Spectroscopic Instrument (DESI) Survey. The projected triangle sides less up 20$h^{-1}$ Mpc measured from a...
Abstract The small-scale linear information in galaxy samples typically lost during nonlinear growth can be restored to a certain level by the density field reconstruction, which has been demonstrated for improving precision of baryon acoustic oscillation (BAO) measurements. As proposed literature, joint analysis power spectrum before and after reconstruction enables an efficient extraction carried high-order statistics. However, statistics postreconstruction are difficult model. In this...
A series of lockdown measures in response to the Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) outbreak resulted a drop anthropogenic emissions and changes concentrations PM 2.5 O 3 . Backward trajectories analysis, cluster potential source contribution function (PSCF) concentration weighted trajectory (CWT) technologies were conducted reveal characteristics areas pollutants Beijing before COVID-19 (BCO period), during (COB period) after (ACO as well contemporaneous period (CCO which is critical for...
Abstract Modelling soil infiltration capacity and identifying controlling factors under long‐term fertilizer application could help in developing better fertilization treatments to increase infiltration, thereby preventing land degradation. This study was performed at Laiyang experimental field Shandong Province, China. Three rates of manure (0, 30,000, 60,000 kg ha −2 ) nitrogen 138, 276 were full designed a nine‐treatment randomized block design with three replicates per treatment. The...
Abstract We present a novel method to reconstruct the temporal evolution of speed light c ( z ) in flat Friedmann-Robertson-Walker (FRW) Universe using astronomical observations. After validating our pipeline with mock datasets, we apply latest baryon acoustic oscillations (BAO) and supernovae observations, redshift range ∈ [0,1.5]. find no evidence varying light, although see some interesting features Δ ), fractional difference between 0 (the International System Units), eg, < > at...
