Cohesins are important for chromosome structure and segregation during mitosis meiosis. composed of two structural maintenance chromosomes (SMC1-SMC3) proteins that form a V-shaped heterodimer structure, which is bridged by α-kleisin protein stromal antigen (STAG) protein. Previous studies in mouse have shown there one SMC1 (SMC1β), α-kleisins (RAD21L REC8) STAG (STAG3) meiosis-specific. During meiosis, homologous must recombine with another the context tripartite known as synaptonemal...
Significance Expression of keratin 17 (K17), an intermediate filament-forming cytoskeletal protein, is induced in a broad range human carcinomas and has prognostic value for growing number tumor types. We report here that K17 response to DNA damage nuclear pool regulates the immediate such damage, with associated impact on cell survival. Impairing markedly attenuates initiation mouse skin. Our finding adds role (DDR) further substantiates significance expression function during tumorigenesis.
ABSTRACT Keratin 17 (KRT17; K17), a non-lamin intermediate filament protein, was recently found to occur in the nucleus. We report here on K17-dependent differences nuclear morphology, chromatin organization, and cell proliferation. Human tumor keratinocyte lines lacking K17 exhibit flatter nuclei relative normal. Re-expression of wild-type K17, but not mutant form an intact localization signal (NLS), rescues morphology KRT17-null cells. Analyses primary cultures skin keratinocytes from...
Oral premalignant lesions (OPLs), such as leukoplakia, are at risk of malignant transformation to oral cancer. Clinicians can elect biopsy OPLs and assess them for dysplasia, a marker increased risk. However, it is challenging decide which need select site. We developed multimodal optical imaging system (MMIS) that fully integrates the acquisition, display, analysis macroscopic white-light (WL), autofluorescence (AF), high-resolution microendoscopy (HRME) images noninvasively evaluate OPLs....
Triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) is a major cause of death among patients that results from intrinsic and acquired resistance to systemic chemotherapies. To identify novel targets for effective treatment TNBC through combination strategies with MEK inhibitor (AS703026), we used method combining high-throughput two-and three-dimensional (2D 3D) RNAi screening.TNBC cells were transfected kinome siRNA library comprising targeting 790 kinases under both 2D 3D culture conditions or without...
Abstract Background Multimodal optical imaging, incorporating reflectance and fluorescence modalities, is a promising tool to detect oral premalignant lesions in real‐time. Methods Images were acquired from 171 sites 66 patient visits for clinical evaluation of lesions. An automated algorithm was used classify as high‐ or low‐risk neoplasia. Biopsies at clinically indicated those classified high‐risk by the surgeon's discretion. Results Twenty biopsied based on examination imaging. Of these,...
Background : Polypharmacy and inappropriate prescriptions are prominent prescribing issues with elderly patients.Beer's criteria other guidelines have been developed to assist in the reduction of potentially medications prescribed patients. Objective The present work was undertaken study pattern various drugs patients & also evaluate help Beers criteria. Materials Methods This is a prospective observational conducted Navodaya Medical College Hospital from November 2014 April 2015. A total...
Detecting crime from data analysis can be difficult because daily activities of criminal generate large amounts data. The police records exist in various formats and the quality greatly depends on background knowledge analyst. This paper proposes a simple correlation clustering algorithm which aims at finding illegal professional identity fraudsters based discovered their own histories.

Background: Blinatumomab (Blina) and inotuzumab ozogamicin (INO) improve the outcomes of patients (pts) with relapsed/refractory B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (B-ALL). These drugs may allow for use less chemotherapy remission durations overall survival (OS) in older pts newly diagnosed B-ALL. Aims: To evaluate combination low-intensity INO or without Blina, Methods: Pts ≥60 years Philadelphia chromosome (Ph)-negative B-ALL were eligible to receive mini-hyper-CVD up 8 cycles. Initially,...
From its inception in 2008 until 2020, the nuclear medicine advanced associate (NMAA) has evolved into a valuable member of imaging team. Data show that NMAAs perform key services including supervision, interpretation, protocoling adjunct studies, and management, freeing physicians to concentrate on more complicated time-intensive responsibilities. Additionally, profession gained ground by becoming recognized Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB), with advent formal NMAA...
The study of tumor biology and heterogeneity is high importance for identifying viable cancer therapeutics. A content RNAi screen carried out to identify genes that induce varied morphologies. We present a novel automated pipeline interpret gene function by extracting morphological features cell aggregates, in large scale 3D screens. use “bag words” based clustering approach distinguish multiple phenotypes. Functional analysis underlying the phenotypic clusters reveals role growth invasion...
2573 Background: Repeated cycles of chemotherapy supported by lenograstim and whole blood re-infusion (WBR) allows escalation dose increased frequency therapy. Fixed doses high may facilitate predictable recovery following WBR. Alkylating drugs have shown activity in CRPC. We investigated the role melphalan WBR metastatic Methods: Twenty-two patients were recruited into this phase I/II study. High was given for 3 days followed venesection subsequent iv melphalan. The autologous returned 12...
