This contribution is an update catalogue of the type specimens Insecta deposited in entomological collection Prof. Johann Becker Museum Zoology Universidade Estadual de Feira Santana, Bahia, Brazil. A list 206 holtypes and 1,430 paratypes 23 families, 73 genera, 244 species allocated 12 orders. Lectotype paralectotypes Bitoma palmarum Bondar, 1940 were designated. Diptera present highest number types on collection, with 161 holotypes 1,324 paratypes.

Abstract Eunanus Ohaus, 1909 has so far been known exclusively from Argentina and Paraguay, with only two described species: E. murinus podtiaguini Gutiérrez, 1951. Here, the genus is revised redefined, new species are Brazil: kozlovi sp. nov. , Mato Grosso do Sul state, valmorbidai Rio Grande state. Furthermore, Leucothyreus beckeri (Martínez, 1964) transferred to under combination comb. The lectotype of designated, an identification key all a distribution map provided.

Three new species of Pelidnota MacLeay, 1819 are described from Brazil, P. beckeri sp. nov., nordestina and pernambucana nov. Bolbapium Boucomont, 1910 is a Neotropical genus of Geotrupidae with 22 known species. In this paper, we describe vazdemelloi sp. nov. in Southwestern Bahia, Brazil. This new species distinguished from congeneric by its unique combination morphological characters: cephalic tubercle adjacent to each eye; pronotum little expanded bidentate tubercle; parameres symmetric, acute and divergent apex.
