The Cu/Al layered double hydroxide (Cu/Al LDH) with a Cu2+/(Cu2+ + Al3+) molar ratio of 0.81 was prepared via co-precipitation at pH 5.18 using mixing solvent DMSO, glycerol and water. band gap 2.58 eV is smaller than 3.07 TiO2.
