92歳，女性。左膝蓋下方にドーム状に隆起し毛細血管拡張を伴う13×10 mmの硬性暗紅色皮膚結節あり。病理で真皮から皮下にN/C比が高い類円形の核をもつ腫瘍細胞が密にあり浸潤性に増殖。免疫染色でsynaptophysin，chromogranin A，CK20陽性。T1N0M0，Stage I。全切除後，放射線45 Gy追加照射を行った。腫瘍組織は免疫組織化学的にメルケル細胞ポリオーマウイルス（MCPyV）large T－antigen（CM2B4）陽性であった。ホルマリン固定パラフィン切片から抽出したDNAよりPCRとダイレクトシークエンシングを行い，MCPyVの登録塩基配列との完全一致を確認した。
