Three dimensional (3D) flower-shaped microarchitectures of NaY(WO4)2 were synthesized via a microwave-assisted hydrothermal process in the presence trisodium citrate (Na3Cit) and post-calcination process. The effects reaction conditions on morphology precursor microstructures studied. It was found that Na3Cit, as chelating agent shape modifier, plays key role microstructure growth. A possible growth mechanism for proposed. as-formed can completely transform into with its original heat...

In this Article, ZnO nanofibers were prepared by electrospinning. The as-prepared electrospun fibers treated with plasma. morphology, structure, and element content of the greatly changed after treatment different plasmas. test results indicated that acetone-sensing performance was remarkably improved for oxygen-plasma-assisted nanofibers. Furthermore, density function theory (DFT) calculation revealed acetone adsorption energy oxygen plasma 2 times greater than untreated nanofibers,...

A novel strategy is proposed to prepare hexagonal EuF3 nanocrystals by doping lanthanide ions (Ln3+) with large ionic radius (such as La3+, Ce3+, Pr3+, Nd3+ and Sm3+). Complete phase transition from orthorhombic can be achieved the increase of or concentration Ln3+ ions. Meanwhile, size self-assembly degree product reduced dramatically. The possible growth transformation mechanism was proposed. Finally, Eu3+ ion used structural probe investigate effect on luminescence. It found that...

Abstract The relationship between the geometric structures of catalyst particles and growth carbon nanocoils (CNCs) is investigated. It found that CNCs usually consist over two, but less than five tubules. at tips are all polyhedron structures, in most cases, hexahedron. considered a particle has two kinds crystal facets, catalytically active facet precipitation facet. mainly plays roles decomposition hydrocarbon diffusion formed atoms, while tubules grown from facets twisted to form coil....
