We demonstrate the compression of noise-like pulses in an Yb-doped fiber master-oscillator power-amplifier (MOPA). The seed source MOPA is NPR mode locked laser delivering 5.94-ps dissipative soliton with a repetition rate 37.48 MHz. After amplification amplifier, stable maximum power 5 W are obtained. Subsequently grating pair used to tailor spectrum and compensate dispersion amplified pulses. pedestal de-convolution autocorrelation trace compressed from 6.5 ps 920 fs. To best our...

Abstract We demonstrated a harmonic mode-locked Erbium-doped fiber laser based on saturable absorber (SA) of 2H-MoTe 2 , which is member the transition metal dichalcogenides. The SA mode-locker was made by integrating into D-shaped fiber, and then inserted an erbium-doped for mode-locking. nonlinear modulation depth saturation power -based were 10.9% 19 MW cm −2 respectively. fundamentally pulse train had width 577 fs repetition rate 14.32 MHz. highest order mode locking 55th, 787.6 MHz, 820...

In this paper, we demonstrate experimentally a thulium-doped passively mode-locked figure-of-eight fiber laser to generate dissipative-soliton-resonance (DSR) pulses in an all-anomalous-dispersion regime. And two different DSR are obtained by simply adjusting the polarization controllers. At maximum pump power of 2.4 W, average and repetition rate is 113.5 mW 2.532 MHz respectively, corresponding pulse energy 45 nJ. Subsequently, effect NALM length on investigated, with 63 nJ near 2 μm obtained.

The dispersive Fourier transform technique provides feasibility of exploring non-repetitive events and the buildup process in ultrafast lasers. In this paper, we report a new dissipative solitons simplified mode-locked Yb-doped fiber laser, which includes more complex physics stages such as Q-switching stage, raised damped relaxation oscillation stages, noise-like successive soliton explosions breathing stage. Complete evolution dynamics pulse double are also investigated with transform. For...

Abstract We demonstrated two different types of bound noise-like pulses (NLPs) in ytterbium-doped mode-locked fiber lasers using the nonlinear polarization rotation technique. In anomalous dispersion area, there were multiple spikes intensity autocorrelation (IAC) trace. normal spike presented only center IAC The results experiment show that state NLPs may have partial coherence.
