Here we demonstrate that exhibits surprising adsorption properties gaseous ammonia. shows 12.5 mmol/g ammonia capacity 0.1 MPa, whereas standard adsorbents show only 5.08-11.3 mmol/g. Dense was also observed trace contamination in atmosphere. Results higher by analogues with optimization chemical composition. The respective capacities cobalt hexacyanocobaltate (CoHCC) and copper...

Variations in molecular electronic structures related to conformational change are exceedingly attractive because of their key role the understanding and development functional processes electronics biology. We observed, for first time, novel phase switching a photoactive isomeric molecule, N-(2-mercaptoethyl)-4-phenylazobenzamide (Azo molecule) at single-molecule level, which exhibits distinctive conductive characteristic under scanning tunneling microscope (STM) measurement. In comparison...

Redox-controllable molecular switches composed of two interlocking rings are incorporated here into Langmuir films starting from different redox states. The morphologies the resulting monolayers and their current–voltage characteristics then investigated. These considered to be ideal candidates for fabrication molecule-based electronic devices.

Conductance was measured for the single molecules with S/Se anchoring on a Au surface using point contact method scanning tunneling microscopy that enables us to selectively perform repeated analysis of chosen target molecule. Apparent conductance changes observed in sequential measurements suggest existence bond fluctuation among adsorption sites.

Abstract Assembled systems consisting of an azobenzene moiety as the photofunctional component and valyl units network backbone are investigated. The molecular ordering these assemblies is examined by spectroscopy theoretical calculations. number greatly influences order in organized systems. Only N ‐( L ‐valyl‐ ‐valyl)azobenzene‐4‐carboxamide ( 3 ) forms a complete β‐sheet structure this artificial assembly. Upon photoirradiation, moieties isomerize completely, revealing reversibility...

One major candidate of lithosphere-atmosphere-ionosphere (LAI) coupling mechanism is through atmospheric oscillations triggered near Earth's surface due to some pre-earthquake (EQ) effect, and this channel has been extensively proved by using meteorological disturbances much more easily treated than pre-EQ effects (Korepanov et al., 2009). Here, we describe PEL that developed the pleural pericardial cavities an HIV-negative HHV-8-negative patient CVID.
