Nonpathogenic Pantoea spp. have been shown to confer biofertilizer and biocontrol activities, indicating their potential for increasing crop yield. Herein, we provide the high-quality genome sequence of sp. strain AS-PWVM4, a Gram-negative motile plant growth-promoting rhizobacterium isolated from pomegranate plant. The 4.9-Mb contains genes related growth promotion synthesis siderophores.

Soil phosphorus (P) fractions as affected by long-term use of inorganic and integrated fertilization under rice-wheat cropping system in loamy sand soil Punjab, India were studied. The P improved with increase rate applied. Ca-P is the dominating these soils. fraction fertilizer effect was pronounced application. pH EC negatively significantly correlated Sa-P, Al-P, Fe-P Ca-P, however, OC positively fractions. Sa-P Al-P major sources Olsen’s exchangeable equilibrium Ca-P. crop production...

This study aims to investigate the anti-termite activity of eucalyptus globulus leaf extract. Termites are destructive pests that cause significant damage wooden materials ultimately leads financial losses as well structural instability. Natural remedies for termite control gaining attention due concerns over environmental and health impacts synthetic pesticides. The Ethanolic extract Eucalyptus leaves show 90% mortality rate at 2mg/ml concentration whereas essential oil shows 80% same...

A series of N,N-dimethyl-N-benzyl ammonium chloride cinnamides (la-e) were prepared from the reaction between cinnamyl chlorides (4a-e) and N,N-dimethylphenylmethanamines (6a-e). These salts tested for their biological activity on germination, seedling growth adventitious root formation hypocotyl cuttings Vigina radiata (SML-668) found to be markedly inhibit germination mungbean seeds under laboratory conditions.
