This study aimed to investigate the application of cottonseed protein concentrate (CPC) in Chinese mitten crabs (Eriocheir sinensis). First, apparent digestibility coefficient (ADC) CPC, fish meal and soybean were compared (21.72 ± 0.33 g). The ADC CPC was 90.42%, which significantly higher than that (83.16%) (P < 0.05). Phe, Cys Glu those meal, while Ile, Leu, Lys, Met, Thr Ala lower Second, we investigated effects substitution by on growth performance, free amino acid profile, expression...

Abstract The effect of dietary astaxanthin on growth, survival, and stress tolerance was determined in postlarval Litopenaeus vannam ei. An experiment performed with shrimp (mean initial wet weight 1.2 mg) fed four isoenergic isonitrogenous diets containing supplemented levels (0, 100, 200, 400 mg/kg diet, respectively). Shrimp mg astaxanthin/kg diet for 30 d showed higher gain (WG, %) survival compared to the control (without supplementation astaxanthin). Specific growth rate (SGR, %/day)...
