We propose an approach that uses connectivity information - who is within communications range of whom to derive the locations nodes in a network. The can take advantage additional information, such as estimated distances between neighbors or known positions for certain anchor nodes, if it available. It based on multidimensional scaling (MDS), efficient data analysis technique takes O(n/sup 3/) time network n nodes. Unlike previous approaches, MDS full distance have yet be localized. Two...

Deep learning has been shown to achieve outstanding performance in a number of challenging real-world applications. However, most the existing works assume fixed set labeled data, which is not necessarily true Getting data usually expensive and time consuming. Active labelling deep aims at achieving best result with limited set, i.e., choosing appropriate unlabeled get labeled. This paper presents new active labeling method, AL-DL, for cost-effective selection be AL-DL uses one three metrics...

Abstract Protein secondary structure prediction can provide important information for protein 3D and functions. Deep learning offers a new opportunity to significantly improve accuracy. In this article, deep neural network architecture, named the inception‐inside‐inception (Deep3I) network, is proposed implemented as software tool MUFOLD‐SS. The input MUFOLD‐SS carefully designed feature matrix corresponding primary amino acid sequence of protein, which consists rich set derived from...

Abstract Wireless sensor networks (WSNs) offer the potential to significantly improve efficiency of existing transportation systems. Currently, collecting traffic data for planning and management is achieved mostly through wired sensors. The equipment maintenance cost time‐consuming installations sensing systems prevent large‐scale deployment real‐time monitoring control. The idea of sodium ions altering G-protein-coupled receptor (GPCR) ligand binding and signaling was first suggested for opioid receptors (ORs) in the 1970s subsequently extended to other GPCRs. Recently published ultra-high-resolution crystal structures GPCRs, including that δ-OR subtype, have started shed light on mechanism underlying control GPCR by revealing details site. Whether accesses different subtypes from extra- or intracellular sides, following similar pathways, is still an open...

We propose a novel global minimization method, called NOVEL (Nonlinear Optimization via External Lead), and demonstrate its superior performance on neural network learning problems. The goal is improved of application problems that achieves either smaller networks or less error prone the same size. This training method combines local searches to find good minimum. In benchmark comparisons against best optimization algorithms, it demonstrates improvement.

In this paper, we propose a novel decentralized traffic light control using wireless sensor network. The system architecture is classified into three layers; the network, localized flow model policy, and higher level coordination of lights agents. sensors are deployed on lanes going in out intersection. These detect vehicles' number, speed, etc. send their data to nearest Intersection Control Agent (ICA) which, determines inter- section depending sensors' (e.g., number vehicles approaching...
