Bacterial biofilms are implicated in a wide range of implant-based and chronic infections. These infections often associated with adverse therapeutic outcomes, owing to the decreased antibiotic susceptibility compared their planktonic counterparts. This altered biofilm has been attributed multiple factors, including reduced penetration. Although several studies have addressed role penetration barrier biofilm-associated drug resistance, it remains inconclusive. study was done elucidate...
SUMMARY Bovine calf scours reported to be caused by multiple aetiologies resulting in heavy mortality unweaned calves and huge economic loss the dairy farmers. Among these, cryptosporidiosis is an emerging waterborne zoonoses one of important causes neonatal diarrhoea. Poor immune response coupled with primary cryptosporidial infections predispose secondary their deaths. In present study, faecal samples from 100 diarrhoeic randomly picked up out 17 outbreaks bovine diarrhoea periurban...
Milk proteins play a pivotal role in human nutrition and serve as abundant reservoirs of essential amino acids bioactive compounds. Beyond their nutritional significance, they are also crucial ingredients the food industry due to unique physicochemical properties, which include emulsification, foaming, viscosity, gelation capabilities. Despite increasing popularity plant-based proteins, indispensability milk protein remains undeniable. This review highlights significance focusing on casein...
The uptake of silver by an experimentally derived silver-resistant Klebsiella pneumoniae strain was three to four times lower than the a susceptible strain. Spheroplasts two strains showed no difference in uptake. AgNO3 at concentration 40 micrograms/ml decreased succinate dehydrogenase activity and resistant 100 18%, respectively. More one resistance mechanism may be involved.
In this paper we implement a new technique for detection and removal of impulse noise from the grayscale digital images.Proposed method consist three steps, in first step, center pixel window is tested whether present or not, detected has when it lies outside trimming range by using fuzzy reasoning. In second replace noisy pixels median filters. In third stage create histogram if image again remove soft thresholding. The results proposed gray scale images very good rather than exiting terms PSNR values.
e18653 Background: Plain language summaries (PLS) are increasingly added to published scientific manuscripts in oncology, either as an abstract or standalone manuscript, increase transparency medical research. We evaluated PLS oncology journals by publication type and institution for criteria deemed essential adequately inform laypeople. Methods: 2021 2022 were identified PubMed using prespecified search terms. Two writers independently reviewed scored based on use of terminology, level,...
Bovine tuberculosis (bTB) is a major bacterial disease that causes significant economic disruption across the globe. Our study was based on using fluorescence polarization assay (FPA) used fluorescein-labeled ESAT-6 protein to detect Mycobacterium bovis antibodies in bovine serum. The FPA. Positive TB reactors were determined by comparative intradermal test (CID) and interferon gamma (IFN-γ). Antibodies against M. detected fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC) labeled tracer whole culture FITC...
Cryptosporidium, an opportunistic, zoonotic, apicomplexan parasite, is one of the most common causes diarrhea in neonatal bovine calves around globe. Bovine act as a major source infection by excreting huge numbers highly resistant oocysts faeces, which can survive for long time extreme environmental conditions. As low ten cause disease and mortality, leading to requirement early accurate diagnosis proper favorable prognosis, management, control. The current study was conducted with objective...
Endophytes (mostly fungi and bacteria) are the microorganisms living in close symbiotic association with plants. growing within medicinal plants hostile environments considered to produce novel as well chemically structurally diverse secondary metabolites. These metabolites being used clinical grade drug targets due their less toxicity over other conventional drugs for diseases like cancer, microbial infections. extracts also exploited food, agrichemical biotechnology industries....
Perineal pain and wound is most commonly associated with vaginal delivery episiotomy. Various therapies are available for the treatment of episiotomy healing; effectiveness infra-red therapy little documented. So, keeping in view a quasi-experimental study was conducted to assess upon level healing among 60 post natal mothers (30 each experiment control group) admitted at selected hospitals district Ludhiana, Punjab. The findings present concluded that both experimental group were...
Abstract Purpose The present study was conducted to investigate the effect of neural vision therapy using perceptual learning on near and distance visual acuity in pseudophakic patients with mono-focal intraocular lenses. Methods prospective interventional non-comparative 30 who had received lenses required corrective for optimal distance, or both. Perceptual performed Gabor gratings varying spatial frequency contrast. as well contrast sensitivity assessed before after training. function...
Background Asthma is respiratory disease characterized by acute episode of spasm bronchi in lungs leading to difficulty breathing. Most often it related theallergic reaction airways. It treated with inhalation therapy that metered dose inhaler (MDI) and dry powder (DPI).However, the desired treatment outcomes are not observed due ineffective compliance practices MDI /DPI (metered inhalers) Aims objectives Assess MDI/DPI among asthma patients Evaluate patients. Design was exploratory...
Recent studies have shown that the progression of SARS-CoV-2 is associated with human genetic factors. Many patients diverse clinical symptoms based on their age, sex, ABO blood type, underlying medical conditions, HLA system, and viral variants found in samples. considered more transmissible higher morbidity rates as compared to previous SARS outbreak. Several case supported direct relation cardiovascular pulmonary fatalities related ACE2 polymorphisms during COVID-19 infection. mutants...
