Overexpression of human epidermal growth factor receptor type 2 (HER2) occurs in multiple carcinomas. For example, up to 20% breast cancer cases are classified as HER2 positive (HER2+). Treatment this condition typically involves immunotherapy using monoclonal antibodies, such trastuzumab or pertuzumab. The precise targeting antibodies HER2+ tumour lesions can be used well radioimmunotherapy deliver medical radionuclides exactly the afflicted area and therefore minimize radiation exposure...
Abstract The interest for ZrP this material is based on its physicochemical properties which makes a perspective candidate applications in nuclear medicine. In study was prepared and completely characterized using various analytical methods. Finally, the of radiometals sorption mechanism surface characterization were done. conclusion, appears as promising next studies with purposes like drug delivery system or ion-exchanger separations medical radionuclides such 225 Ac 213 Bi.
Abstract In this study suitability of α-ZrP nanoparticles as a 223 Ra and 225 Ac carriers for TAT was investigated. The yields radiolabelling were higher than 98% in both cases. Subsequently, vitro stability studies carried out various biological matrices during 48 h period. Measurements released radioactivity showed the highest saline. Released activity Ra, their daughter radionuclides around 0.5%. On other hand, lowest shown plasma serum. progeny atoms from 15 to 32%.
Zirconium phosphate (ZrP), especially its alpha allotropic modification, appears to be a very promising sorbent material for the sorption and separation of various radionuclides due properties such as an extremely high ion exchange capacity good radiation stability. Actinium-225 daughter nuclide 213Bi are emitting radioisotopes interest application in targeted therapy cancer. Thus, main aim this paper is study 225Ac on α-ZrP surface kinetics, while kinetics studied using natEu...
Targeted alpha therapy with radionuclides undergoing multiple alpha-particle decays is a promising method of nuclear medicine. To study the effectiveness versus beta emitters, survival DU145 prostate cancer cells exposed to 223Ra or 177Lu was assessed. Per decay, were much more sensitive than emitter. However, per unit dose sensitivities would be comparable, contrary well-known evidence, if decay energy deposited within sample completely and homogeneously. Measurements by Timepix detectors...
The influence of various hydroxyl radical scavengers such as methanol, ethanol and dimethyl sulfoxide on radiation sensitivity prokaryotic cells (bacteria Escherichia coli) eukaryotic (yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae V79 cells-Chinese hamster pulmonary fibroblasts) irradiated by 60Co gamma was investigated. dependence dose rate in range from 1.8 to 100 Gy h-1 evaluated. Survival increasing rates followed using clonogenic assay. Specific protective effect found be a nonmonotonous function with...
The protection of Escherichia coli bacteria and the yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae against UV-C radiation by ethanol was studied. It found that fraction surviving cells increases with increasing concentration. specific depends on dose rate, concentration range ethanol, it is higher for compared to bacteria.
