The possibilities to use a miniaturized robotic system for inspection, exploration and maintenance of the pipes are highlighted. In this paper, authors’ contributionin field is discussed. Two in-pipe minirobots developed by authors described. efforts focused on mobility corresponding actuationsystems. Several functional characteristics (e.g. maximum /minimum inner pipe diameter) given.
Many microorganisms have long been known to be able synthesize nanoparticles either in extracellular media or inside cells but the biochemical mechanisms involved biomineralization are still poorly understood. In this paper we report intracellular synthesis of gold (GNPs) by cyanobacterium Synechocystis sp. PCC 6803 exposed an aqueous solution chloroauric acid. We assess interplay between process and metabolic activities (i.e. photosynthesis respiration) cyanobacteria correlating GNP yield...
Geopolymers are zeolites like structures based on hydrated aluminosilicates units of SiO4 and AlO4. These units, known as poly(sialate), poly(sialate)-siloxo or poly(sialate)-disiloxo chemically balanced by the group I cations K+, Li+, Na+. Simultaneously, chemical reaction formation, geopolymerization, governs orientation unit, generating mesoporous structures. Multiple methods can be used for pore structure porosity characterization. Among them, nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) relaxometry...
In this paper the authors are presenting an omni-directional mobile robot, developed for educational and research purposes. The motion capabilities of robot due to its special Mecanum wheels. provides general information about wheels, mechanical design aspects wheels it also describes kinematic dynamic models control system.
