We highlight a new metal-molecule charge transfer process by tuning the Fermi energy of plasmonic silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) in-situ. The strong adsorption halide ions upshifts level AgNPs up to ~0.3 eV in order: Cl-<Br-<I-, favoring spontaneous aligned molecular acceptor orbitals until neutrality across interface is achieved. By carefully quantifying experimentally and theoretically upshift, we show for first time that this effect comparable different effects such as plasmoelectric or...
Three-dimensional printing by fused deposition modeling (FDM) coupled with hot-melt extrusion (HME) is a point of convergence research efforts directed toward the development personalized dosage forms. In addition to customization in terms shapes, sizes, or delivered drug doses, modulation release profiles crucial ensure superior efficacy and safety modern 3D-printed medications compared those conventional ones. Our work aims solidify groundwork for preparation tablets that sustained...
Bioactive glasses doped with silver are aimed to minimize the risk of microbial contamination; therefore, influence on bioactive properties is intensely investigated. However, information related role played by silver, when added glass composition, biocompatibility scarce. This aspect essential as long content can blood protein adsorption onto surface glass, thus affecting material's biocompatibility. Therefore, from perspective standpoint, finding an optimal in a extremely important issue....
Abstract The study is focused on synthesis, investigation of the structural and morphological changes induced by MoO 3 addition, thermal treatment, as well in vitro characterization a new sol–gel derived SiO 2 –CaO–P O 5 bioactive materials. obtained systems are composite materials consisting nanocrystalline apatite, glass CaMoO 4 nanoparticles, which interest for both regenerative medicine specific medical applications releasable molybdenum ions. treatments addition with respect to...
