Abstract The study is focused on synthesis, investigation of the structural and morphological changes induced by MoO 3 addition, thermal treatment, as well in vitro characterization a new sol–gel derived SiO 2 –CaO–P O 5 bioactive materials. obtained systems are composite materials consisting nanocrystalline apatite, glass CaMoO 4 nanoparticles, which interest for both regenerative medicine specific medical applications releasable molybdenum ions. treatments addition with respect to...
The morpho‐structural and electrochemical properties of the oxide film formed on implants surface play a decisive role for bio‐compatibility titanium‐based prosthesis. aim present work is to investigate compare corrosion behavior titanium dioxide (TiO 2 ) coated Ti–6Al–7Nb prepared by anodic oxidation in two different electrolytes (1 M acetic acid (CH 3 COOH) sulfuric (H SO 4 solutions) at potentials. oxidized samples was investigated Hank's simulated physiological solution, using cyclic...
This paper reports x-ray photoemission spectroscopy results regarding the nucleation and growing process of gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) in CaO-SiO2-P2O5 bioactive glasses heat treated at different temperatures. The analysis valence band (VB) spectra is discussed terms AuNPs’ shape, size, distribution sample surface Moreover, theoretical VB investigated samples are presented, their agreement with experimentally obtained detail.
