본 연구에서는 소명이론(Work as a Calling Theory: WCT, Duffy, Dik, Douglass, England, & Velez, 2018)에 근거하여, 직장인의 소명수행과 직무소진의 관계에서 완벽주의(개인지향, 사회부과)가 조절효과를 지니는지를 확인하였다. 이를 위해 20-30대 국내 직장인 320명을 대상으로 소명수행, 직무소진, 다차원적 완벽주의 척도로 구성된 설문을 시행하였다. SPSS 27.0 및 Process Macro를 활용하여 자료를 분석하였고, 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 소명수행이 직무소진에 미치는 영향을 사회부과 완벽주의가 조절하는 것으로 나타났다. 즉, 높은 경우, 부적 관계가 약해지는 둘째, 자기지향 완벽주의는 조절하지 않는 따라서 직무소진 간 관계를 상담에 적용 시, 내담자 성격구조로써 특히, 완벽주의를 염두에 둘 필요가 있다. 또한 상담 개입에 있어 완벽주의의 완화를 도울 그 밖의 연구의 시사점 그리고 제한점 후속연구 제언을 논하였다.

본 연구에서는 진로구성이론 적응모형(Career Construction Theory(CCT) Model of Adaptation, Savickas, 2020; Savickas & Porfeli, 2012)에 근거하여, 직장인의 주도성이 진로적응성과 잡 크래프팅을 순차적으로 매개하여 일의 의미에 영향을 미치는 지를 알아보았다. 이를 위해 국내 다양한 기업에서 근무하는 직장인 351명을 대상으로 수집된 자료를 분석하였다. 연구결과, 주도성은 매개로 주는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 주도적 성향의 직장인일수록 높은 수준의 진로적응을 위한 자원(진로적응성)을 지니며, 적응적 진로행동인 크래프팅 그리고 의미라는 긍정적 적응결과로 이어진다는 것을 보여준다. 끝으로 바탕으로 의미있는 일 경험을 시사점과 함께 연구의 한계를 논하였다.
