The magneto-structural features of one mononuclear and two layered Co(ii) complexes being new examples Single-Ion Magnets (SIMs) are reported.
The structural and photophysical characterization of new Re(i) complexes was reported.
Several 2,2′:6′,2′′-terpyridine derivatives were synthesized and their photophysical properties investigated by absorption photoluminescence spectroscopy.
Three pentacoordinate complexes of the type [Co( pypz)X2], where pypz is a tridentate ligand 2,6-bis(pyrazol-1-yl)pyridine and X = Cl- (1), NCS- (2), NCO- (3), have been synthesized, their structures determined by X-ray analysis. The DC magnetic data show sizable anisotropy, which was confirmed high-field high-frequency electron paramagnetic resonance (HF EPR) measurements. Well-resolved HF EPR spectra high spin cobalt (II) were observed over microwave frequency range 100-650 GHz....
The work is focused on anticancer properties of dipicolinate (dipic)-based vanadium(IV) complexes [VO(dipic)(N∩N)] bearing different diimines (2-(1H-imidazol-2-yl)pyridine, 2-(2-pyridyl)benzimidazole, 1,10-phenanthroline-5,6-dione, 1,10-phenanthroline, and 2,2′-bipyridine), as well differently 4,7-substituted 1,10-phenanthrolines. antiproliferative effect V(IV) systems was analyzed in tumors (A2780, HCT116, HCT116-DoxR) normal (primary human dermal fibroblasts) cell lines, revealing a high...
The 'wire-like' acetylenic moiety is an important building block in organic and coordination chemistry that can facilitate electron transfer donor-acceptor compounds, contributing to the enhancement of their photophysical properties. 2,6-Bis-(thiazol-2-yl)pyridine (dtpy) functionalized with a 4-phenylacetylene group (Ph-C≡C-dtpy) was, for first time, used preparation [ReCl(CO)3(Ph-C≡C-dtpy)] [Pt(Ph-C≡C-dtpy)Cl]CF3SO3 order understand properties derived from use substituent. ability...
Photophysics of [ReCl(CO)3(4′-R-terpy-κ2N)].
The preparation, X-ray crystal structure, spectroscopic and variable-temperature dc ac magnetic properties of two six-coordinate cobalt(ii) complexes formula [Co(bim)4(tcm)2] (1) [Co(bmim)4(tcm)2] (2) (bim = 1-benzylimidazole, bmim 1-benzyl-2-methylbenzimidazole tcm- tricyanomethanide ion) are reported. 1 2 crystallize in the monoclinic P21/n C2/c space groups with asymmetric units composed one ion half [Co(bim)4]2+ [Co(bmim)4]2+ complex cations, respectively. Their cobalt atoms compressed...
To gain an insight into the factors affecting enhancement of energy barrier in SMM/SIM, hexacoordinate pseudohalide Co(ii) complexes based on tridentate ligand were investigated.
Through varying the auxiliary N-donor ligands nine new compounds have been synthesized and characterised structurally spectroscopically. The magnetic properties of complexes investigated discussed in context their structures.
The six-coordinate cobalt(II) complex of formula [Co(tppz)2](tcm)2 exhibits a thermally induced spin-crossover behavior from high spin (S = 3/2) at higher temperatures to low 1/2) lower temperatures, with the low-spin phase being achieved T ≤ 200 K.
The excited‐state characteristics of a series 2,2′:6′,2″‐terpyridine (terpy), 2,6‐di(thiazol‐2‐yl)pyridine (dtpy) and 2,6‐di(pyrazin‐2‐yl)pyridine (dppy) derivatives as well their corresponding Re(I) complexes [ReCl(CO) 3 (L n ‐κ 2 N)] were investigated both experimentally theoretically, the crucial effect pyrrolidine substituent peripheral rings on optical electrochemical properties was found evident. For bearing ligands with electron‐rich substituent, different emission profiles in polar...
Nine rhenium(i) complexes possessing three carbonyl groups together with a bidentate coordinated 2,6-di(thiazol-2-yl)pyridine derivative were synthesized to examine the impact of structure modification triimine ligand on photophysical, thermal and electrochemical properties [ReCl(CO)3(4-Rn-dtpy-κ2N)]. The Re(i) fully characterized using IR, 1H 13C, HRMS-ESI single crystal X-ray analysis. Their evaluated DSC TGA measurements. Photoluminescence spectra [ReCl(CO)3(4-Rn-dtpy-κ2N)] investigated...
The ground and excited-state properties of Re(i) complexes with terpy-like ligands functionalized 9-carbazole were investigated.
