We perform hysteresis-loop measurement and domain imaging for (11¯00)-oriented D019-Mn3+xSn1-x (−0.11≤x≤0.14) thin films using the magneto-optical Kerr effect (MOKE) compare it with anomalous Hall (AHE) measurement. obtain a large rotation angle of 10 mdeg, comparable bulk single-crystal Mn3Sn. The composition x dependence AHE MOKE shows similar trend, suggesting same origin, i.e., non-vanishing Berry curvature in momentum space. Magnetic observation at saturated state that is explained by...

Antiferromagnets with broken time-reversal symmetry, such as Mn3Sn, have emerged promising platforms for exploring topological and correlated electron physics. Mn3Sn is known to show two magnetic phase transitions: a non-collinear inverse triangular antiferromagnetic (IT-AFM) spin configuration formed below its Néel temperature (TN ≅ 420 K), whereas at T1 that usually locates room temperature, it transits an incommensurate state. Accordingly, intriguing properties strong anomalous Hall...

D019-Mn3Sn, an antiferromagnet having a non-collinear spin structure in kagome lattice, has attracted great attention owing to various intriguing properties such as large anomalous Hall effect. Stability of magnetic state against thermal fluctuation, characterized general by the stability factor Δ, been well studied ferromagnetic systems but not for antiferromagnets. Here, we study Δ antiferromagnetic Mn3Sn nanodots function their diameter D. To quantify measure switching probability...

Wakame seaweed is an important aquatic resource in Iwate Prefecture. However, a suctorian Ephelota gigantea sometimes causes great damage to wakame culture. Since little known about the biological characteristics of E. , its detailed morphology and temporal change during 2010 culture season were investigated. Scanning electron microscope observations showed that had different striation patterns on stalk; there was swell made cement by which stalk attached firmly; buds cilia arranged...

This study investigated the host-epibiont relationship between calanoid copepods and suctorian ciliates collected widely from northern North Pacific Ocean. Mid- deep-water adult female calanoids without dormant stages were found to be infested with suctorians, probably because of their larger size, longer intermolt duration longevity in comparison males surface water species. A total 259 belonging sixteen species five Among them, Candacia columbiae, Gaetanus minutus, Lucicutia bicornuta,...
