Organic carbonate-based electrolytes blended with ionic liquids exhibit improved electrochemical properties, as demonstrated by experiments and MD simulations.
We studied dynamic and structural properties of two lithium conducting salts in the aprotic organic solvent adiponitrile by a combination atomistic molecular dynamics (MD) simulations, quantum chemical calculations, experimental findings. The outcomes our simulations reveal significant differences between both salts, namely tetrafluoroborate (LiBF4) bis(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)imide (LiTFSI) at various concentrations, which can be mainly attributed to solvation behavior individual anions....
Aluminum dissolution behavior of adiponitrile (ADN) and its trifluoromethylated derivative 3-(trifluoromethyl)adiponitrile (ADN-CF3) as single or co-solvent with propylene carbonate (PC) was determined in electrolytes lithium bis(trifluoromethylsulfonyl) imide (LiTFSI) conducting salt via selected electrochemical, spectroscopic physicochemical methods. ADN-CF3 is introduced a promising electrolyte solvent affording reduced aluminum the presence salts. In cases where neither components nor...
Abstract Background In times of omnipresent digitization and big data, telemedicine electronic case files (ECFs) are gaining ground for networking between players in the health care sector. context SALUS study, this approach is applied practice form platforms to display process disease-relevant data glaucoma patients. Objectives The ECF designed implemented support acquisition presentation, monitoring, outcome control patients suffering from a clinical setting. Its main aim provide means...
Abstract Purpose The SALUS study aims to improve the healthcare situation for glaucoma patients in Germany. In order detect diurnal intraocular pressure (IOP) fluctuations, inpatient monitoring of IOP an eye hospital a minimum 24 h is current standard. assesses benefits new form outpatient care, where can be measured by themselves at home using self-tonometer. This approach should promote patient’s health competence and empowerment within system while reducing treatment costs. Methods...
Lithium-ion batteries (LIBs) are known for their domination in the market rechargeable energy storage systems. However, state-of-the-art non-aqueous aprotic electrolytes, as inevitable components thereof, generally comprising organic carbonates such ethylene carbonate (EC) and dimethyl (DMC) with lithium hexafluorophosphate (LiPF 6 ) conducting salt, still cope well-known drawbacks limitations 1 . In order to realize a substantial improvement, it is of significant importance tailor new...
