A polymerized ionic liquid electrolyte and platinum-free counter electrode are employed for solid-state DSSCs. We able to prepare a thin polymer layer on nanocrystalline TiO2 in order reduce the cell resistance. In addition, an electron conductive (PEDOT/PSS) or single-wall carbon nanotube gel is used with as inexpensive instead of platinum. The overall photon-to-current conversion efficiency was 3.7% this study.

The impact of intermolecular interactions on the third-order nonlinear optical (NLO) properties open-shell molecular aggregates has been elucidated by considering one-dimensional π-π stacked phenalenyl radicals with different distances and long-range corrected spin-unrestricted density functional theory method. In dimer, which can be considered as a diradicaloid system, diradical character strongly depends distance, larger distance is, becomes. Then, around equilibrium stacking that...

It was investigated that the intrusion of water into electrolyte most critical reason for low stability a dye-sensitized solar cell. To prevent intrusion, robust cells and submodules with novel protection layer metal circuit tightly sealing package developed. The excellent cell ionic liquid at high temperature conditions also reveled. resulting employing noble construction showed an extremely to pass several endurance tests standardized in JIS photovoltaic submodule.

Abstract Bicyclo[1.1.0]tetrasil‐1(3)‐ene 1 , a tetrasilicon analogue of bicyclo[1.1.0]but‐1(3)‐ene that contains formal double bond between bridgehead silicon atoms in an inverted geometry, was synthesized and isolated the form thermally stable orange crystals. The distance Si is much longer than those typical Si=Si bonds, but still shorter previously reported pentasila[1.1.1]propellane. DFT calculations suggest comprises σ with geometry π bond. This notion supported by UV/Vis spectrum which...

In an investigation into the proton conductivity of crystallized water clusters confined within low-dimensional nanoporous materials, we have found that water-stable crystals are formed by complementary hydrogen bonding between [Co(III) (H2 bim)3 ](3+) bim: 2,2'-biimidazole) and TATC(3-) (1,3,5- tricarboxyl-2,4,6-triazinate); O atoms in -COO(-) groups porous outer wall strongly bonded with H2 O, forming two types WMCs (water molecular clusters): a spirocyclic tetramer chain (SCTC) forms...

Abstract A triaminotriborane(3) was isolated as purple crystals through the reduction of (TMP)BCl 2 (TMP=2,2,6,6‐tetramethylpiperidino) by sodium naphthalenide. Single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction and computational studies obtained revealed a bent structure [B(NR )] 3 chain. The bond lengths between central terminal boron atoms were similar to those observed in neutral diborene species. multiple‐bonding character may be best described three‐center two‐electron π‐bond along B distance two (2.177...

Low-resistivity (ρ) and highly transparent pure indium oxide (In2O3) thin films grown on glass substrates by pulsed laser deposition at substrate temperature (Ts) between room 200 °C are reported. As-deposited with resistivity of ∼3×10−4 Ω cm transmittance (visible), above 87% were obtained within a narrow range PO2 (1×10−2–1.5×10−2 Torr). Hall effect measurements showed that the low ρ resulted from high carrier concentration (n)∼7×1020 cm−3, whereas modest mobility (μ<45 cm2 V−1 s−1)...
