Poly(1-amino-5-chloroanthraquinone) (PACA) nanofibrils were applied as novel nanoadsorbents for highly toxic mercury removal from aqueous solutions. A series of batch adsorption experiments conducted to study the effect adsorbent dose, pH, contact time, and metal concentration on Hg(II) uptake by PACA nanofibrils. Kinetic data indicated that process achieved equilibrium within 2 h following a pseudo-second-order rate equation. The mechanism was investigated Fourier transform-infrared (FT-IR)...
The cyclic guanosine monophosphate (GMP)-adenosine (AMP) synthase-stimulator of interferon genes (cGAS-STING) signaling pathway, an important component the innate immune system, is involved in development several diseases. Ectopic DNA-induced inflammatory responses are pathological processes. Repeated damage to tissues and metabolic organelles releases a large number damage-associated molecular patterns (mitochondrial DNA, nuclear exogenous DNA). DNA fragments released into cytoplasm sensed...
Poly(5-sulfo-1-aminoanthraquinone) nanoparticles were facilely synthesized by a chemical oxidative polymerization of 5-sulfo-1-aminoanthraquinone. The parameters such as oxidant species, acid concentration, oxidant/monomer ratio, time, and temperature systematically studied to significantly optimize the synthetic yield, structure, multifunctionalities target nanoparticles. molecular size distribution, morphology, properties detailedly analyzed IR, UV−vis, fluorescence spectroscopies, element...
Poly(2,5-dimercapto-1,3,4-thiadiazole) (PBT) nanosheets were synthesized by chemical oxidative synthesis under mild conditions. The media, oxidant species, monomer concentrations, oxidant/monomer molar ratio, and temperature optimized to achieve higher yields better performance. molecular structure, morphology, properties of the analyzed Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR), ultraviolet-visible (UV-Vis), fluorescence spectroscopies, wide-angle X-ray diffraction (WAXD), matrix-assisted laser...
Cypridina bioluminescence has been increasingly used in bioimaging, bioanalysis, and biomedicine, due to high quantum yield signal-to-noise ratio. However, there is still no consensus regarding different aspects of the chemiluminescent mechanism this system, which impairs development new applications. Herein, we have a theoretical DFT TD-DFT approach (i) determine identity dioxetanone species responsible for efficient chemiexcitation (ii) identify bioluminescent emitter if light-emission...
Industrial pollution by heavy metal ions such as Hg2+ and Ag+ is a universal problem owing to the toxicity of metals. In this study, novel nano-adsorbent, i.e., poly-2-mercapto-1,3,4-thiadiazole (PTT), was synthesized used selectively adsorb mercury silver from aqueous solutions. PTT nanoparticles were via chemical oxidative dehydrogenation polymerization under mild conditions. Oxidant species, medium, monomer concentration, oxidant/monomer molar ratio, temperature optimized obtain optimum...

Novel macrocyclic amine‐linked oligocarbazole hollow microspheres are synthesized via a one‐step oxidative method in aqueous solution. Upon altering the oxidants and acidic media, average diameters of obtained tunable from 0.23 to 2.0 μm. With attractive amine carbazole functionalities, exposed surface area, thermostability, photoluminescent properties, directly assembled yield heavy metal sorbents with excellent selectivity recyclability, shown efficiently remove lead contaminated water. image
A simple, rapid, one-pot synthesis of arylaminomethyl acetylenes is achieved under microwave-assisted conditions (power = 5 W) using aromatic boronic acids, aqueous ammonia, propargyl halides, copper(I) oxide and water as the solvent. The reactions are complete within ten minutes affording good to excellent yields products.
The white-blooded Antarctic icefish is the only known vertebrate lacking oxygen-transporting haemoglobins. Fish skin mucus, as first line of defence against pathogens, can reflect fish welfare. In this study, we analysed mucus proteome profiles two species, icefish, Chionodraco hamatus, and red-blooded fish, Notothenia coriiceps, unfolding different proteins by liquid chromatography coupled with tandem mass spectrometry isobaric tags for relative absolute quantitation (iTRAQ) technology. Of...
Abstract Na + /K -ATPase is an important ion-transporting enzyme involved in osmoregulation. The swimming crab ( Portunus trituberculatus ) a commercially edible species China. At salinities lower than 10 or higher 40 , its production seriously impacted; however, the mechanisms of how crabs responds to salinity changes, unclear. In current study, α -subunit (NAKA) and β (NAKB) cDNA P. was identified. Multiple alignment performed expression NAKA NAKB 6 th gills under different conditions were...
The swimming crab Portunus trituberculatus is an important fishery and aquaculture species in China, salinity has a significant effect on its physiological processes. To verify whether the calcyclin-binding protein (CacyBP) gene related to stress adaptation, cDNA fragment of P. CacyBP was amplified cloned. cloned PtCacyBP contains 702 nucleotides encoding 233 amino acids, with calculated molecular weight 26.35 kDa. approximately 40% acid sequence identity homologs from other known species....

Abstract The co‐factors independent cypridina bioluminescence was often used to detect molecular oxygen. Whereas the native oxyluciferin and majority analogues only emit blue light, it limits application of derivative in detection active oxygen species. To overcome these limitations, we design two series derivatives: 2‐acetamido‐5‐aryl‐3‐( p ‐trifluoromethylphenyl)pyrazine ‐methoxylphenyl)pyrazine. results found that fluorescence emissions derivatives cover whole region visible light....
A new method was established to determine short-chain chloroparaffins (SCCPs) in synthetic surfacing layers used sports and diluents by solid-phase extraction (SPE) coupled with gas chromatography-negative chemical ionization-mass spectrometry (GC-NCI-MS). The analysis conditions for chromatography mass were optimized. Then, the samples extracted ultrasonication, purified on a Florisil SPE column, monitored selective ion monitoring (SIM) scanning mode, quantified external standard method....
