Research was conducted regarding a display that presents digital information using bubbles. Conventional bubble displays require moving parts, because it is common to use air taken from outside of the water represent pixels. However, difficult increase number pixels at low cost. We propose liquid-surface clusters generated electrolysis, and present cup-type device BubBowl, which generates 10×10 pixel dot matrix pattern on surface beverage. Our technique requires neither gas supply nor parts....
A palladium-catalyzed regioselective three-component coupling of ynamides was developed. The reaction proceeded smoothly to furnish the desired products when carried out at 70 °C in acetonitrile/water with potassium carbonate presence 2.5 mol % Pd2(dba)3·CHCl3 without a ligand. Various iodides and boronic acids were used this reaction, carbon-carbon bond formed satisfactory regioselectivity from ynamides.
We propose a method for controlling device that draws letters and illustrations on large, flat surfaces. Similarly to conventional inkjet printers, the ejects volume of water from its nozzle, with droplets then forming dots surfaces such as soil, concrete, sand. Both direction nozzle pressure can be controlled enable draw arbitrary two-dimensional patterns within semicircular region radius six meters. The illustrations. have investigated pressure, shape droplet size in order avoid further...
Due to its natural warmth, wood is frequently used produce touchable objects such as furniture and signboards. Laser cutting machines are becoming common in personal processing cut engrave wood. In this paper, we propose a method workflow for producing various sensors electrical circuits interactive devices by partially carbonizing the surface with laser machine. Similar wiring on conventional printed circuit board (PCB), carbonized part functions conductive path. A creating electronic made...
Laser cutting machines are commonly used in wood processing to cut and engrave wood. In this paper, we propose a method workflow for producing various sensors electrical circuits by partially carbonizing the surface with laser machine. Similar wiring on conventional printed circuit board (PCB), carbonized part functions as conductive path. Several methods creating small-scale graphene using raster-scanning beam have been proposed; however, requires substantial amount of time create large...
This pictorial presents a novel method to render color patterns using electrolysis applied onto open wet surfaces. By implementing electrodes within object and electrifying them, can occur generate ions. We designed color-forming display indicators reacting with such according the shape of electrode. reversing polarity generating reversed-polarity ions, it is possible fade existing pattern contrasting color. The proposed does not require moving parts; thus, low cost easy compact. Also, some...
Research was conducted on a digital information display using electrolysis bubbles. Although the research mainly focused displays in daily life, ephemerality of bubbles is also promising method for dynamic art installations. In this paper, we present two novel artworks bubble mechanism. First, "UTAKATA," ticker-like display, running-water channel. Seven electrodes are placed linearly channel bed, and they generate text messages dots that drift toward lower end Second, "Bubble Mirror," which...

Using indicators reacting such ions, we create color-forming display. applying common techniques, as printed circuit board, arbitrary be displayed by computer control. reversing the polarity of varying number it is possible fade existing pattern display contrasting color. The proposed used various...
To add haptic feedback and tactile cues of a physical interface to interaction with mobile touch displays, several passive systems have been proposed as Tangible User Interfaces (TUIs). The from such objects can be customized by changing their shape structure but cannot changed dynamically. Therefore, we propose simple TUI that provide dynamic on device. We use an electromagnet embedded in the tangible object magnetic sheet fixed back An electric current flowing through customizable pattern...
Research has been conducted regarding 3D food printing that additively manufactures edible objects. Some studies control the texture of printed foods by creating an intricate internal structure, which is limited resolution can be with soft paste-like foods. This study proposes a method for controlling 3D-printed gummy candy selectively generating fine foam structures inside using electrolysis. We establish technique bubbles in dough determining optimal material properties, developing...
We propose UTAKATA, an ephemeral display device that presents information by using floating clusters of bubbles. In our previous study, we implemented electrolysis bubble drinkable beverages. Although clear bubbles could be created in short times, they did not disappear for a long time; consequently, the refresh time period was considerably long. To overcome this deficiency, present ticker-like running-water channel. establish display, linear array seven electrodes is fabricated on bottom...
We evaluated the development of a social support educational program on future supporters. The intervention trained youths in their 20s and 30s who are providing or will provide to mentally vulnerable youths. conducted brief interviews with 69 participants, analyzing data through content analysis. Most participants found useful terms meeting new peers, gaining techniques for supporting others, relaxing assuring competence others. There were concepts that developed, but not aware until...

A new approach to the relay design problem has led improved sensitivity, reliability, maintenance-free long life, and a considerable reduction of size cost. Extremely efficient magnetic circuits having no ineffective reluctance requiring contact materials permit high degree miniaturization polar relays. To simplify circuit, permanent magnet is used both as balanced armature "permanent magnet" itself, with all air gaps in circuit serving effective reluctances drive armature. characteristic...
Handling of micro-objects less than 1 mm is essential in the fields biotechnology and micro-machine production. These operations are difficult because they requires manual using microscopic images. The productivity not high. To solve these problems, a 3D software camera system has been introduced. consists two subsystems; those entire shape model with texture extraction stereo image generation from model. Here, structure total vision for described.
