Abstract Co-infections of cystic echinococcosis (CE) and HIV/AIDS is rare. We report four CE cases that were HIV positive. Three out the patients underwent a surgical operation to remove hydatid cysts in their livers. The confirmed two had ruptured. These given 3 months albendazole after operation.
