African swine fever (ASF) is an acute and hemorrhagic infectious disease caused by virus (ASFV), which listed as animal epidemic that must be reported The World Organization for Animal Health causes serious economic losses to China even the whole world. Currently, entry mechanism of ASFV not fully understood. Especially in early stages entry, host factors required have yet been identified characterized. In this study, we demonstrated externalized phosphatidylserine (PS) on envelope...
To assess the role of NOD-like receptor C5 (NLRC5; a major NLRC family protein that regulates immunity, inflammation and tissue fibrosis), in cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury, characterized by oxidative damage.Blood NLRC5 levels were assessed neonates with ischemia healthy controls. A stable PC12 cell line was established overexpressed or knocked down NLRC5. Inflammatory responses, apoptosis rate damage cells under oxygen-glucose deprivation/reperfusion (OGD/R) conditions evaluated using...
ABSTRACT Background: Bupleurum chinense, a well-known Traditional Chinese Medicine, has been used for thousands of years in China. In this study, we would suggest that polysaccharides (BPS) could improve the prognosis sepsis through its impact on redistribution BMCs, which triggers immune reversal late sepsis. Methods: BALB/c mice were divided into five groups: sham burn group, plus P aeruginosa with BPS (40 mg/kg, 100 and 250 mg/kg) treatment they sacrificed at post-burn day (PBD) 0, 3, 5,...
Abstract Background Neurofibromatosis-Noonan syndrome (NFNS) is a rare autosomal dominant hereditary disease. We present case of NFNS due to the heterozygous deletion exons 1–58 NF1 gene on chromosome 17 in 15-month-old boy. Case presentation A boy was admitted for motor and language developmental delay, numerous café-au-lait spots, hypertelorism, left blepharoptosis, pectus excavatum, cryptorchidism, secondary atrial septal defect, UBOs (undefined bright objects) revealed by cranial MRI...
Cyclic neutropenia (CyN) is a rare hematological disease. Herein, CyN girl, aged 3 years and 2 months, with recurrent fever oral mucosal ulcer caused by neutrophil elastase (ELANE) gene mutation reported.A months old girl presented for 1 year. Routine blood test revealed that her absolute count repeatedly decreased (minimum 0. 04 × 10/L) every 21 days on an average. Gene testing showed the patient suffered from ELANE heterozygous (c.197T>G) (exon2) (p.M66R). She was finally diagnosed as CyN....
Toll-like receptor is a kind of innate immunity found in recent yeats. It plays an important role and adaptive immunity. Further researches indicate that TLRs are expressed on various kinds hematopoietic ceils including haemopoietic stem/progenitor cells, mecenchymal stem cells vascular endothelial play biological effect. Here we review the expression TLR hematopoietie its haematopoiesis. Key words: Toil-like receptor; Hematopoiesis; Hematopoietic cell
