Cytogenetic analysis of unstimulated short-term bone marrow cell cultures was performed on 280 patients with multiple myeloma and related disorders. In 65% the cases, an additional short term B-cell stimulated culture also examined. Chromosomally abnormal clones were found in 31% patients, 15% Waldenström macroglobulinemia. 25% monoclonal gammopathies, 33% myeloma, 50% plasma leukemia. Three primary chromosomal breakpoints recurrently involved: 14q32, 16q22, 22q11. Structural rearrangements...

Kaposi sarcoma (KS) is an angioproliferative lesion in which two main KS cell sources are currently sustained: endothelial cells (ECs) and mesenchymal/stromal cells. Our objective to establish the tissue location, characteristics transdifferentiation steps of latter. For this purpose, we studied specimens 49 cases cutaneous using immunochemistry confocal electron microscopy. The results showed that delimiting CD34+ stromal cells/Telocytes (CD34+SCs/TCs) external layer pre-existing blood...

We successfully employed steroidogenic factor-1 (SF1), androgen receptor (AR), class III β-tubulin as markers. SF1 AR specifically highlighted intraneural cell precursors of which were previously identified in a published case mature cystic teratoma ovary, adult cells. Furthermore, transient...
