Abstract Copper telluride nanoparticles are classified as the family of metal chalcogenides and were synthesized using a simple solvothermal method new source telluride, ditelluride diphenyl. The characterized techniques revealed that atomic composition copper tellurides is Cu 2 Te particles spherical. This study greatly examined by different designed experiments for proof intrinsic peroxidase‐like activity its effectiveness in variety similar structures. can convert peroxidase substrates...
Organomercurials, such as methylmercury (MeHg+ ), are among the most toxic materials to humans. Apart from inhibiting proteins, MeHg+ exerts its cytotoxicity through strong binding with endogenous thiols cysteine (CysH) and glutathione (GSH) form MeHgCys MeHgSG complexes. Herein, it is reported that N,N-disubstituted benzimidazole-based thione 1 containing a N-CH2 CH2 OH substituent converts complexes less water-soluble HgS nanoparticles (NPs) releases corresponding free CysH GSH MeHgSG,...
Synthetic organic molecules, which can selectively convert excess intracellular copper (Cu) ions to nanozymes with an ability protect cells from oxidative stress, are highly significant in developing therapeutic agents against Cu-related disorder like Wilson's disease. Here, we report 1,3-bis(2-hydroxyethyl)-1H-benzoimidazole-2-selenone (1), shows a remarkable remove Cu ion glutathione, major cytosolic Cu-binding ligand, and thereafter converts it into selenide (CuSe) nanozyme that exhibits...
Extraction and concentration of pure nucleic acid from complex biofluids are the prerequisite for amplification test (NAAT) applications in pathogen detection, biowarfare prevention, genetic diseases. However, conventional spin-column mediated extraction is constricted by requirement costly power-intensive centralized lab infrastructure, making it unsuitable limited-resource settings. Significant progress lab-on-a-chip devices or cartridges (e.g., Cepheid GeneXpert®) that integrate has been...
The sulfur-containing antioxidant molecule ergothioneine with an ability to protect metalloenzymes from reactive oxygen species (ROS) has attracted significant interest in both chemistry and biology. Herein, we demonstrated the importance of hydrogen bonding S-oxygenation reactions between various thiones H2O2 its significance protecting metal ion H2O2-mediated oxidation. Among all imidazole- benzimidazole-based (1-10), ImMeSH (2) showed highest reactivity toward H2O2-almost 10 75 times more...
Here we report that [S2]-donor ligands BmmOH, BmmMe, and BmeMe bind rapidly reversibly to the mercury centers of organomercurials, RHgX, facilitate cleavage Hg–C bonds RHgX produce stable tetracoordinated Hg(II) complexes R2Hg. Significantly, rate depends critically on X group (X = BF4–, Cl–, I–) used induce bonds. For instance, initial bond MeHgI induced by is almost 2-fold higher than obtained BmmOH or indicating spacer between two imidazole rings plays a significant role here in...
In this study, a highly effective cationic polymer, Poly (diallyldimethylammonium chloride) (PDDA), was used to bond Titanium Carbide (TiC) nano-particles (NPs) non-covalently with matrix polyaryletherketone (PAEK). Functionalization of PDDA TiC NPs confirmed using Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), Zeta potential, and Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscopy (FE-SEM). Both (3 wt%) (untreated PDDA-treated) were added PAEK, as filler for reinforcement elevating friction. The...
[S2]-Donor ligands L2 and L3 showed remarkable ability to protect liver cell against HgCl2induced toxicity the strength of their efficacy is in order > L1. Interestingly, 60% decrease ROS production was observed cells co-treated with HgCl2and comparison treated HgCl2only.
In the current study, nanoparticles (NPs) of titanium nitride (50-70 nm) in varying amounts (0-4 wt %) were uniformly suspended an epoxy solution and then used to cast films nanocomposites. The same formulations prepare lap shear strength joints using stainless-steel coupons with help standard molds employing compression molding technique. nanocomposites characterized for their physical properties, thermal stability, friction performance, scratch hardness, while prepared as nanoadhesives was...
Abstract The Hg−C bond of MeHgCl, a ubiquitous environmental toxicant, is notoriously inert and exceedingly difficult to cleave. cleavage the MeHgCl at low temperature, therefore, significant importance for human health. Among various bis(imidazole)‐2‐selones L n Se ( =1–4, or 6), three‐spacer 3 shows extraordinarily high reactivity in degradation mercury alkyls including because its unique ability coordinate through κ 2 ‐fashion, which both atoms simultaneously attack Hg center facile...
Methylation and demethylation of mercury compounds are two important competing processes that control the net production highly toxic alkyls, methylmercury (MeHg+ ) dimethylmercury (Me2 Hg), in environment. Although microbial photochemical methylation well studied recent years but chemical have not been well. Herein, we report for first time CuSe nanosheet has remarkable ability to activate inert Hg-C bonds various MeHg+ Me2 Hg at room temperature (21 °C). It facilitates conversion into...
The first examples of neutral and cationic bismuth complexes bearing β-ketoiminato ligands were isolated by employing salt metathesis route. BiCl3 reacts with [O=C(Me)]CH[C(Me)N(K)Ar] (1) resulting in a homoleptic complex Bi[{O=C(Me)}CH{C(Me)NAr}]3 (2). reaction between [(CH2)2{N(K)C(Me)CHC(Me)=O}2] (3) leads to the formation [Bi{(CH2)2(NC(Me)CHC(Me)=O)2}]4[Bi2Cl10] (4).

AbstractWe report the synthesis of a Cp*Rh complex bearing pyridyl azine ligand with free amine (NH2) group. The reaction [Cp*RhCl2]2 (L) formed cationic formula [RhIII(η5-C5Me5)(L)к2(N,N')Cl]SbF6 (1) that was characterized by IR, UV-Vis, 1H, 13C{1H} NMR, etc. SC-XRD analysis revealed condensation an acetone molecule NH2 group, thus forming imine –C=N– bond in ligand, giving [RhIII(η5-C5Me5)(L')к2(N,N')Cl]SbF6 (2). coordination geometry around rhodium 2 is pseudo-tetrahedral sites occupied...

Endoscopic exploration and repair of sub-condylar ramal fractures the mandible is technically feasible, and, though there a steep learning curve, once experience gained, it can be performed in reasonable amount time. There have been no permanent facial nerve injuries to date, functional results seem satisfactory. Of 5 fractures, plate fixation was achieved at primary endoscopic all patients. It remains for prospective studies determine relative safety effectiveness this procedure.
