Hepatitis E is water born disease and transmitted by feco-oral route it an emerging infectious agent causing acute viral hepatitis all over the world. During pregnancy, especially in third trimester, infection characterized a more severe with many fold increase hepatic enzyme levels that sometimes results fulminant leading to increasing maternal fetal morbidity mortality.
