Abstract Plants synthesize an astonishing diversity of isoprenoids, some which play essential roles in photosynthesis, respiration, and the regulation growth development. Two independent pathways for biosynthesis isoprenoid precursors coexist within plant cell: cytosolic mevalonic acid (MVA) pathway plastidial methylerythritol phosphate (MEP) pathway. However, little is known about effects hormones on these pathways. In present study we investigated effect gibberellic (GA 3 ) changes amounts...

The influence of abscisic acid (ABA) on plastidial and cytosolic terpenoids two key enzymes for terpenoid biosynthesis was determined in vegetative stage Cannabis sativa L. Low concentration ABA (1 μM) increased 1-deoxy-D-xylulose 5-phosphate synthase (DXS) activity treated plants comparison to control plants. amounts chlorophyll a carotenoids response treatment but b content declined. accumulation α-tocopherol stimulated only by 10 μM ABA. ABA-treated showed decline...

SUMMARY In the present research, effect of indole‐3‐butyric acid ( IBA ) on growth, and production some primary secondary metabolites was studied in Nostoc linckia . this respect, algae cultures were supplied with 0, 0.01, 0.1, 1, 10, 100 μM for 14 days. at concentrations 10 induced algal growth expressed as fresh weight N. Treatment all stimulated heterocyst formation. addition, low (0.01, 1 μM) had a stimulatory chlorophyll carotenoids accumulation. contrast, higher accumulation...

AbstractAbstractIn the present study we investigated effect of ethephon on changes in amount many terpenoid compounds including, tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), cannabidiol (CBD), chlorophyll, carotenoids, α-tocopherol and pyruvate as one substrate plastidic terpenoids biosynthesis Cannabis sativa at vegetative stage. Treatment with 1 100 µM increased THC content up to 9 fold Plants treated 10 had more CBD comparison control plants. The decreased plants subjected 5 ethephon. Leave area plant did...

Abstract In this study, polyploidy level was determined by flow cytometry analysis. The effect of colchicine treatment examined on the growth parameters, malondealdehyde (MDA), as well activities antioxidant enzymes such superoxide dismutase (SOD), catalase (CAT) and peroxidase (POD) in response to different levels salinity Dunaliella salina . results algal indicated that 3 M NaCl optimal concentration salt, since highest enhancement fresh dry weight, chlorophyll carotenoids, soluble sugar,...

We reported the significant effect of auxin and gibberellin on mixoploid cultures created by colchicine in Dunaliella salina. Polyploidy induction increased growth amount all biochemical parameters measured this work including chlorophyll, carotenoid, starch, glycerol, sugar, protein. Treatment with 0.1%, which resulted 58.26% polyploid cells, had a better increasing analyzed parameters. Auxin except Low concentrations (1 10 µM) caused an increase protein cells treated colchicine....

Haematococcus Pluvialis (H. pluvialis) is a microalga of freshwater which rich source carotenoid. The astaxanthin, type carotenoid and antioxidant, has many health benefits. It roles in healthier skin, endurance, heart health, joint pain relief even can act as super-antioxidant cancer treatment. Optimizing physiological parameters H. pluvialis be suitable method for increasing metabolites producing astaxanthin. In order to improving the growth, pigments, proteins carbohydrates pluvialis, we...
