A critical issue for current liposomal carriers in clinical applications is their leakage of the encapsulated drugs that are cytotoxic to non-target tissues. We have developed partially polymerized liposomes composed polydiacetylene lipids and saturated lipids. Cross-linking diacetylene prevents drug even at 40 °C days. These inactivated non-cytotoxic. Significantly, more than 70% can be instantaneously released by a laser matches plasmon resonance tethered gold nanoparticles on liposomes,...
Gelation of metallo-supramolecular polymers prepared from three ditopic ligand monomers, 1, 2 and 3, derived, respectively, tetra-, penta-, hexaethylene glycols, in the presence transition metal ion ZnII, as well properties resulting gels, are investigated compared. It is found that these slight changes core length monomer lead to substantial variations gel characteristics, which can be attributed solubility differences between corresponding polymers. Observations gelation kinetics indicate...
Redox-responsive metallo-supramolecular polymers (MSPs), consisting of a ditopic ligand end-capped poly(tetrahydrofuran) (pTHF) macromonomer self-assembled with copper ions, have been developed where the degree polymerization MSP, and therefore viscosity its solutions, depends on oxidation state ion. We use combination UV-Vis, viscosity, light scattering, cyclic voltammetry SAXS to show that ligands, 2,6-bis(N-methylbenzimidazolyl)pyridine (MeBip), at ends pTHF, bind copper(II) in 2 : 1...
Various amounts of C9 petroleum resin (PR) were added to the starting materials for preparation low 4% and 8% SBS content polymer modified asphalt (PmA). Morphology, physical properties rheological performance each SBS-PmA are investigated by using fluorescence microscope (FM), routine tests dynamic shearing rheometer (DSR). Routine DSR results reveal that high-temperature PmAs markedly improved a proper PR, especially with content. FM show incorporation PR is beneficial dispersion behavior...
By a new strategy, two trifluoromethyl groups were efficiently introduced to highly insoluble n-type semiconductor 3,4,9,10-perylene tetracarboxylic bis(benzimidazole) (PTCBI), and for the first time we obtained three pure regioisomers of bis(trifluoromethyl)-substituted PTCBI, whose optical properties are different from one another.

Initiation mechanism oft-BuOK on anionic polymerization ofn-HMA in THF.
A controlled synthesis method of alkyl methacrylate block copolymers such as poly(methyl methacrylate)-b-poly(ethyl methacrylate) (PMMA-b-PEMA), methacrylate)-b-poly(butyl (PMMA-b-PBMA) and poly(ethyl (PEMA-b-PBMA) via living anionic polymerization was innovated with potassium tert-butoxide (t-BuOK) initiator in tetrahydrofuran(THF) solvent. The sequential copolymerization could be smoothly conducted at 0 °C the conversion all monomers reached up to almost 100%. were characterized by gel...
Abstract It still remains a concern to break through the bottlenecks of anionic polymerization polar monomers, such as side reactions, low conversion and temperature (–78°C). In this work, potassium tert ‐butoxide ( t ‐BuOK) was chosen initiate 2‐ethylhexyl methacrylate (EHMA) in tetrahydrofuran. The conversions were above 99% at 0 or 30°C, 95% 60°C without reaction inhibitors. high implied ‐BuOK could suppress reactions. A series block copolymers EHMA, n ‐hexyl (HMA) methyl (MMA) further...
Thirty-two 1-aroyl/aryloxyacetyl-4-(2-furoyl)thiosemicarbazides and corresponding semicarbazides were synthesised in excellent yields under microwave irradiation solvent-free conditions without using any catalyst.
ABSTRACT In order to break through the bottleneck of anionic polymerization, polar monomers such as methyl methacrylate (MMA), ethyl methacrylate, butyl and hexyl are subjected polymerization at room temperature in tetrahydrofuran (THF) using potassium tert ‐butoxide ( t ‐BuOK) initiator. The alkyl methacrylates is studied by multidetector gel permeation chromatography, proton nuclear magnetic resonance 1 H‐NMR) 13 C‐NMR spectroscopy, dynamic laser light scattering. It found that ‐BuOK can...
