Turning over silanes: The first nanotube-based catalytic system for silane oxidation is reported (see scheme). reusable gold–nanotube hybrid cleanly oxidizes both alkyl and aryl silanes in high yields, under mild reaction conditions, compares most favorably to any other terms of overall efficacy turnover values. Detailed facts importance specialist readers are published as "Supporting Information". Such documents peer-reviewed, but not copy-edited or typeset. They made available submitted by...
Abstract Rhodium nanoparticles were anchored on carbon nanotubes and the resulting nanohybrid was studied as co‐catalyst, along with tert ‐butylcatechol, for dehydrogenation of various N‐heterocycles. The co‐catalytic system operates in high yields, under mildest conditions reported so far, can be applied to a wide variety secondary amine‐containing scaffolds.
Gold nanoparticles were deposited on carbon nanotubes to provide access a nanohybrid structure which was involved in the aerobic oxidation of alcohols. The nanohybrid-catalyzed reaction shown be highly efficient under mild conditions (i.e. room temperature, air) and selective alcohols corresponding acids or aldehydes could achieved, depending conditions.
Ruthenium nanoparticles were assembled on carbon nanotubes and the resulting nanohybrid was used in hydrazine-mediated catalytic hydrogenation of various nitroarenes, at room temperature. Depending solvent, a selective transformation occurred, giving either access to corresponding aniline or hydroxylamine derivative.
Gold digger: The direct reductive amination of aldehydes catalyzed by gold/carbon-nanotube nanohybrids with a silane as hydride source is reported. Abstract To explore why the use of furfural as a transformer oil‐paper insulation aging characteristic is problematic in real world application, we developed method for simultaneous determination furfural, furoic acid, and maleic acid oil by reversed‐phase vortex‐assisted liquid–liquid microextraction combined with high‐performance liquid chromatography. The conditions proposed were optimized, obtained extract can be directly analyzed detection limits (signal‐to‐noise ratio = 3) ranged from...
Background and Objectives We tested long‐acting injectable depot naltrexone for its tolerability, pharmacokinetics, safety in Phase I. Methods The I trial enrolled 36 healthy participants two panels (A, B). In Panel A, 24 subjects were randomly assigned to the high‐dosage group (400 mg naltrexone, n = 6; placebo, 6) or low‐dosage (200 6). B, 12 randomized take six doses of monthly mg) placebo. Results After a single injection 200 400 mg, means (SD) plasma concentrations .57 (.28) ng/ml 1.5...
A new method has been developed for estimating relative oxygen metabolic activity microdistribution in biofilms based on catastrophe points during oxygen-infusion processes.
Introduction The demand for fresh–cut water chestnuts, a convenient and nutritive vegetable, is increasing in market. However, the slicing of chestnuts can cause mechanical damage to tissue, which results quality deterioration. We aimed select optimal treatment through comprehensive comparison preservation effect acetic acid, could prolong shelf life improve their storage quality. Methods A evaluation was conducted using gray–correlation method based on variation–coefficient weight observe...
To address the challenges of rapid oxidation and aggregation nanoscale zerovalent iron (nZVI) in biological denitrification, we investigated effectiveness nZVI–reduced graphene oxide (rGO) composites NO3––N removal by denitrification for first time. The results revealed that addition nZVI–rGO exhibited superior performances, which were 7 times 3 higher than bacteria alone nZVI with bacteria, respectively. Furthermore, comparing Fe2+ ion, content, Tafel polarization curve, slope composites,...
