A random number generator with high data rate, small size, and low power consumption is essential for a certain quantum key distribution (QKD) system. We designed 10 Gbps ASIC, TRNG2016, the QKD With 6 mm × QFN48 package, TRNG2016 has independent physical generation channels, each channel can work at fixed frequency up to 1 Gbps.
