The combination of carbenicillin plus cephalothin (carb-ceph) was compared to the kanamycin (carb-kan) as therapy during 179 episodes presumed infection in 113 cancer patients with neutropenia. overall response rate similar for both treatment groups (48% vs. 49%). Among identified infection, 30 50 (60%) responded carb-ceph and 28 48 (58%) carb-kan. In persistent severe neutropenia, better carb-kan than (45% 15%), although difference not statistically significant. Neither routinely effective...

Comprehensive understanding prognostic relevance of distinct tumor microenvironment (TME) remained elusive in colon cancer. Abstract Introduction The advantages of robotic‐assisted laparoscopic surgery (RALS) for rectal cancer remain controversial. This study clarified and compared the short‐term outcomes RALS with those conventional (CLS). Methods records 303 consecutive patients who underwent or CLS adenocarcinoma between November 2016 2021 were analyzed using propensity score‐matched analysis. After matching, 188 enrolled in our to compare outcomes, such as operative results, postoperative complications,...

The purpose of this study was to measure the effective dose during abdominal three-dimensional imaging obtained with an angiography unit a digital flat-panel system on phantom and determine dose-area product (DAP)-to–effective conversion factors. DAPs doses were evaluated for 163-cm-tall human-shaped phantoms estimated body weights 54, 64, 77 kg, 2.1, 3.2, 4.2 mSv, respectively. DAP-to–effective factors 0.28–0.29 mSv · Gy−1 cm−2. In conclusion, useful estimating angiographic imaging. © RSNA, 2009
