Abstract An azo calcium lignosulfonate (ACL) is synthesized by the coupling of a diazonium salt made from p‐aminobenzene sulphonic acid and (CL). The surface activity foaming ability ACL are evaluated; also performances modified mortars such as fluidity mechanical strength investigated.
