The bandgaps of monolayer and bulk molybdenum sulfide (MoS2) result in that they are far from suitable for application as a saturable absorption device. In this paper, the operation broadband MoS2 absorber is demonstrated by introduction defects. It believed results provide some inspiration investigation two-dimensional optoelectronic materials.

Photodetectors with excellent detecting properties over a broad spectral range have advantages for the application in many optoelectronic devices. Introducing imperfections to atomic lattices semiconductors is significant way tuning bandgap and achieving broadband response, but imperfection may renovate their intrinsic far from desire. Here, by controlling deviation perfection of lattice, ultrabroadband multilayer MoS2 photodetectors are originally designed realized detection 2000 nm 445...

It is well recognized that both alkali and earth metals have a poisoning effect on selective catalytic reduction (SCR) catalyst. In this study, the different effects of K Mg Mn/TiO2 catalyst were investigated. was found deactivation much stronger than Mg. The or addition physicochemical properties investigated based N2 adsorption, XRD, XPS, H2-TPR, NH3-TPD, NO-TPD techniques. results indicated would decrease its specific area, promote crystallization TiO2, lead to Mn4+ surface chemisorbed...

Nowadays, for lanthanide fluorescence thermometry, high relative temperature sensitivity (Sr) and wide sensing range are urgently required in practical applications. Herein, a Pr3+-doped scandate (Pr3+:CaSc2O4) luminescent thermometer is proposed, the related crystal-field splitting of Pr3+ ions systematically discussed. The 4f5d-4f 4f-4f emissions CaSc2O4 basically present positive negative correlation relationships with increase temperature, respectively. different changing tendencies...

It was well recognized that Pb had a poisoning effect on SCR catalyst. In this study, the deactivation mechanism of Ce/TiO2 catalyst investigated based characterization results TPD and in situ DRIFT studies. found addition not only inhibited adsorption activation NH3 species, but also led to decrease activity adsorbed species reaction. The NOx oxidation NO by O2 over were suppressed Pb, while reactivity NO2 did decrease. Moreover, revealed NH3-SCR reaction followed both E-R L-H mechanisms,...

The bound states in the continuum (BICs) have attracted much attention designing metasurface due to their high Q-factor and effectiveness suppressing radiational loss. Here we report on realization of third harmonic generation (THG) at a near-ultraviolet wavelength (343 nm) via accidental BICs metasurface. absolute conversion efficiency THG reaches 1.13 × 10
