Abstract Is it possible to determine low‐temperature cooking in archaeological bones? The indirect exposure of bones fire at low temperature (≤ 100 °C), linked cooking, produces macroscopic modifications on these bones. These have not been clearly or systematically described previously. Instead, physicochemical changes nanometric level are only now beginning be understood. In this paper, our principle aim is explore new methods and techniques that correlate features such as smoothness light...
Different Cu/(Mg or Ni)/Al mixed oxides based on hydrotalcite-like compounds have been studied for the catalytic oxidation of trichloroethylene. The catalysts synthesized and characterized by different techniques such as N2-adsorption, inductively coupled plasma (ICP), X-ray diffraction, temperature-programmed reduction (TPR). It has shown that activity abatement trichloroethylene depends presence metals with redox properties in catalyst composition. best results obtained containing copper...
Structural and acid–base properties of Mg/Al Mg/Ga layered double hydroxides (LDH's) obtained by microwave irradiation the co-precipitated gels have been investigated compared to those samples conventionally aged prolonged hydrothermal treatment gels. Similar crystallinities chemical compositions were whatever synthesis method used. Besides, all samples, remarkably Ga-containing LDH's with a molar ratio Mg ∶ Ga = 4.5, exhibited pure lamellar phases. The mixed oxides calcination examined...

Methyl parathion (MP) is a very toxic organophosphate pesticide used as non-systematic insecticide and acaricide on many corps. As MP its by-products are highly toxic, they have to be retained avoid pollution of rivers lakes. Highly efficient sorbents hydrotalcites (HTs) (or anionic clays). We correlated the degradation an aqueous solution at room temperature, with basicity adsorbing materials. It was found that metal composition determines both surface electronic properties (basic or...
This work presents two easy ways for preparing nanostructured mesoporous composites by interconnecting and combining SBA-15 with mixed oxides derived from a calcined Mg-Al hydrotalcite. Two different hydrotalcite addition procedures were implemented, either after or during the synthesis (in situ method). The first procedure, i.e., post-synthesis method, produces composite material homogeneously dispersed on nanoporous surface. resulting present textural properties similar to SBA-15. On other...
