IL-6 is a pleiotropic cytokine increased in CRC and known to directly promote tumor growth. Colonic myofibroblasts/fibroblasts (CMFs or stromal cells) are CD90(+) innate immune cells representing up 30% of normal colonic mucosal lamina propria cells. They expanded stroma, where they also as cancer associated fibroblasts (CAFs). Cells mesenchymal origin, such myofibroblasts/fibroblasts, secrete IL-6; however, their contribution the increase tumor-promoting inflammation not well defined. Using...

Small ubiquitin-related modifier (SUMO) has emerged as a key post-translational modulator of protein functions. Here we show that TIF1beta, developmental regulator proposed to act universal co-repressor for the large family KRAB domain-containing zinc finger proteins, is heavily SUMO-modified substrate. A combined analysis deletion and punctual mutants identified TIF1beta multilysine acceptor SUMO which specifically targets six lysine residues (Lys(554), Lys(575), Lys(676), Lys(750),...

Central venous catheter (CVC) maintenance is critical in administering chemotherapy, transfusions, and high-frequency laboratory draws. Although normal saline (NS) flushes have been associated with similar incidences of irreversible port occlusions as heparin among adult patients cancer ports, additional research needed regarding NS efficacy other central line within large populations cancer. The aim this study was to analyze changes reported CVC patency via tissue plasminogen activator (tPA)...

Increased transgene expression per vector genome is an important goal in the optimization of viral vectors for gene therapy. Herein we demonstrate that herpes simplex virus type 1 (HSV1) thymidine kinase (TK) sequences (1,131 bp) fused to 3' end lacZ increase from high-capacity adenoviral (HCAd), but not first-generation (Ad) vectors. The woodchuck hepatitis posttranscriptional regulatory element (WPRE), contrast, increased levels Ad HCAd differential activity HSV1 TK and WPRE was detected...

Introduction: Breast cancer is the most common type of resulting in death. Trace elements Fe, Se and Zn can play a key role onset prevention breast cancer. fingernails may be used as bioindicators for diagnosis. The purpose this work to determine concentrations Se, women with healthy women, which find difference correlation these fingernail.
Methods: This research was approved by Ethics Committee Dong Nai General Hospital. fingernail collected from 29 30 who are same age living...

Abstract Nowadays, fly ash is recycled to make more eco-friendly building materials and reduce landfill area of coal-fired power plant. However, the high amount natural radionuclides contained in could potentially pose radiological risks people living buildings made from these materials. The results revealed that 226 Ra, 232 Th 40 K activities for commonly used material were range 10.1 254.9 Bq kg -1 , 16.6 176.9 21.2 1240.3 569.1 respectively: High gamma activity concentration due origin...

A study on the correction of matrix effects in XRF with samples two elements Fe-Cr was carried out. The measurement excited by H3-Zr source at Nuclear Physics Department, University Science HCM City. In this study, Claisse-Quintin algorithm applied to adjust absorption analysis concentration samples. As results, obtained concentrations were, wFe = 0,39 ± 0,02 (g/g) and wCr 0,40 0,01 (g/g). Here, there is a very good agreement between standard sample, which deviation from 0.01 % 2 %.

In neutron activation analysis based on the ko standardization method (ko INAA), ko-factor is a combination of nuclear constants and it was measured by experiments. It plays an important role in accuracy ko-INAA method. Therefore, necessary to measure ko-factors many different sources compare results. this paper, ko- factors gold manganese (ko, Au(Mn)), cadmium ((ko, Au(Cd)), Chromium ((koAu(Cr)), Zinc Au(Zn)), Arsenic Au(As)), Vanadium ((ko,Au(V) with Am-Be isotope source were measured.
