Abstract Silicon monoxide (SiO) is an attractive anode material for next-generation lithium-ion batteries its ultra-high theoretical capacity of 2680 mAh g −1 . The studies to date have been limited electrodes with a relatively low mass loading (< 3.5 mg cm −2 ), which has seriously restricted the areal and potential in practical devices. Maximizing such high-capacity materials critical capitalizing their technologies. Herein, we report monolithic three-dimensional (3D) large-sheet holey...

Infections with multidrug-resistant (MDR) pathogens are increasingly concerning for public health. Synthesized antimicrobial peptide A4 (SAMP-A4), a computationally designed by our research team, is potential drug candidate. However, the SAMP-A4 easily degraded in serum. To obtain analogues high biostability, chemical modifications at its N-terminus, including fatty acid conjugation, glycosylation and PEGylation, were carried out. The results showed that introduction of hydrophobic acids...

In this work, we introduce a unique approach for fabricating three-dimensional (3D) Cu-ZIF-8/MXene, combing the merits of MOFs and MXene to enhance their overall performance. Subsequently, synthesis 3D MXene-based Cu N-doped porous carbon (Cu-NPCM) composites, characterized by high specific surface area, superior conductivity, abundant active sites, was achieved through carbonization acid etching Cu-ZIF-8/MXene. Utilizing resulting Cu-NPCM composites as effective electrocatalyst supports, Ni...

The antimicrobial peptide CGA-N12 (NH2-ALQGAKERAHQQ-COOH) is an active derived from chromogranin A (CGA) and consists of the 65th to 76th amino acids N-terminus. results our previous studies showed that exerts anti-Candida activity by inducing apoptosis without destroying integrity cell membranes. In this study, effect on membrane structure Candida tropicalis was investigated. resulted in dissipation potential, increase fluidity, outflow potassium ions C. significantly changing ergosterol...

Batteries can be activated by external mechanical force and generate current, enabling a smart class of electrochemical–mechanical strain energy harvesters therefrom. Here, we have developed NaxSb alloy-based harvester that is able to electrochemically convert low-frequency bending or pressing into electrical energy. The device designed as flexible symmetric cell incorporating two sodiated antimony nanoflake electrodes, whose peak power output are more than twice those other sodium-alloyed...

The fuzzy co-evolution genetic algorithm is applied to clinical nutrition decision-making optimization. By cooperative co-evolutionary algorithm, the decision problem of divided into two populations ,which combined a complete diet recipe. In this paper, different fuzzy-based definitions optimality and dominated solution are introduced. corresponding extension Co-Evolutionary Genetic Algorithm, so-called Fuzzy Co-Evolution Algorithm (FCEGA), will be presented as well. To verify usefulness...

Abstract To study the effect of dry sorbent injection (DSI) system on emission characteristics condensable particulate matter (CPM) in a 600MW unit an ultra-low coal-fired power plant China, EPA Method 202A is used to sample flue gas from its total exhaust. Through analysis, CPM concentration and water-soluble ion composition corresponding two loads whether DSI running are obtained. The results show that use reduces emissions at 300MW loads, reduced by 32% 9.7%, respectively. For reduction...
