Bloodstream infections due to bacterial pathogens are a major cause of morbidity and mortality in Bangladesh other developing countries. In these countries, most patients treated empirically based on their clinical symptoms. Therefore, up date etiological data for causing bloodstream may play positive role better healthcare management. The aim this study was identify the Dhaka, determine antibiotic susceptibility pattern. From January 2005 December 2014, total 103,679 single bottle blood...
In this work, we demonstrate that microtubule asters are able to center in a variety of cell geometries and can do so over long distances, even when the activity cytoplasmic dynein is inhibited. This observation, along with additional characterizations aster movements, consistent microtubule-based pushing mechanism.
In discrete volumes of cell-free extract, the architecture microtubule asters depends on feedback from dynein-dependent collection cytoplasmic membranes.
Introduction: Listeria monocytogenes, the aetiological agent of foodborne listeriosis, can cause a severe and potentially fatal infection. Listeriosis is associated with acquired immunodeficiency or underlying immunosuppression found in pregnant women, cancer patients elderly. emerged developed countries early 1980s emergence human virus/AIDS popularity minimally processed foods; however, few cases have been reported from developing countries. Here, we present successfully treated case...
Bacteria isolated from tannery wastes were evaluated for their resistance towards chromium (Cr) as well antibiotics. Out of the twelve isolates, three bacterial strains showed Cr even at 10 mg/ml concentration and cocci in shape. Antibiogram suggested that these Cr-resistant bacteria also resistant to multiple This study exposure environment can lead development antibiotic microorganisms. Future research will disclose mechanism underlying existence such dual its impact on public health.Dhaka...
Background: Diarrhoea is considered as the most widespread illness occurring in Bangladesh. In addition, growing antimicrobial resistance of diarrhoeal pathogens this developing country hardens physicians to supervise patients effectively. Objectives: our study, we retrospectively analysed data a and their resistant patterns isolated from attending Dhaka Hospital, International Centre for Diarrhoeal Disease Research, Bangladesh (icddr, b), domiciliary city Patients Methods: During six-year...
