In this study, development of bioactive coatings containing 1 % (w/v) chitosan (CS), 0.6 diepoxy-polyethylene glycol (PEG), and trans-cinnamaldehyde (CIN) was achieved. The physicochemical biological properties the were investigated. tensile strength, light transmission, water vapor permeability (WVP), antibacterial enhanced by incorporation CIN. CIN-containing films appeared compact rough, as observed using scanning electron microscopy (SEM) atomic force (AFM). addition, quality attributes...
Abstract In this study, edible films composed of 1% (w/v) alginate (Alg) and ylang‐ylang essential oil (YYEO, 0.1%, 0.3%, 0.5%) were fabricated characterized for the first time. The suspension viscosity increased significantly from 255.8 to 290.5 Cp, with a corresponding significant film thickness increase 0.029 0.043 mm. There was also decrease in moisture content (MC%) 30.22 23.93%. Scanning electron microscopy atomic force analyses showed an Alg/YYEO roughness. presence YYEO confirmed by...
Edible coatings were prepared using a mixture of 1.0 % (w/v) sodium carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC), 0.5 nanofibers (CNF), and varying concentrations mandarin oil (MO) at 0.05, 0.1, 0.2, 0.3, or 0.4 (w/v). The research investigated the physicochemical characteristics antifungal activities films on Botrytis cinerea (B. cinerea). CMC/CNF/MO used to preserve strawberries (Amaou). changes in quality activity assessed during storage 5 °C 85 ± relative humidity (RH). Results showed major components...
Broccoli (Brassica oleracea L., cv. MKS-B107) is a highly perishable vegetable and it has relatively short shelf life. Storage conditions postharvest treatments are the important factors to determine quality life of broccoli. This study indicated effects 1-methylcyclopropene (1-MCP) temperature on broccoli during storage period. was treated with air (as control) 1.0 μL L-1 1-MCP for 15 h at 15℃, then stored 10℃ 0℃ 25 days 50 days, respectively. The results showed that in good 20 compared...
Stress is inevitable in the modern life for people to make a living, however, prolonged stress will negatively affect their lives. This study, investigating impacts of on 986 university lecturers at The University Danang, Viet Nam, used PSS test measure among participants. results showed that there were wide range stressors lecturers, such as work-related problems, personal advancement, family relationships, work pressure, wages, and problems with friends. Our analysis 176 lectures (39,9%)...
