Abstract Early life stress (ELS) can alter brain function and increases the risk of major depressive disorder (MDD) in later life. This study investigated whether ELS contributes to differences regional activity between MDD patients healthy controls (HC), as measured by amplitude low-frequency fluctuation (ALFF)/fractional (f)ALFF. Eighteen first-episode, treatment-naïve HC were assessed with Childhood Trauma Questionnaire resting-state functional magnetic resonance imaging. We compared...
Abstract CACNA1I , a schizophrenia risk gene, encodes subtype of voltage-gated T-type calcium channel Ca V 3.3. We previously reported that patient-derived missense de novo mutation (R1346H) impaired 3.3 function. Here, we generated 3.3-RH knock-in animals, along with mice lacking 3.3, to investigate the biological impact R1346H (RH) variation. found RH altered cellular excitability in thalamic reticular nucleus (TRN), where is abundantly expressed. Moreover, produced marked deficits sleep...
Abstract Background Soybean is one of the four major crops in China. The occurrence viruses soybean causes significant economic losses. Results In this study, leaves from stay-green plants showing crinkle were collected for metatranscriptomic sequencing. A novel geminivirus, tentatively named geminivirus (SGVA), was identified plants. Sequence analysis full-length SGVA genome revealed a 2762 nucleotides that contain six open reading frames. Phylogenetic analyses located adjacent to clade...
Cereulide is a cyclic dodecadepsipeptide ionophore, produced via non-ribosomal peptide synthetases (NRPS), which in rare cases can lead to human death. Early studies had shown that emetic toxin formation belongs homogeneous group of Bacillus cereus sensu stricto and the genetic determinants cereulide (a 24-kb gene cluster cesHPTABCD) are located on 270-kb plasmid related anthracis virulence pXO1. The whole genome sequences from seven isolates, including two B. five weihenstephanensis...
Melatonin is considered to be a polyfunctional master regulator in animals and higher plants. Exogenous melatonin inhibits plant infection by multiple diseases; however, the role of Cucumber green mottle mosaic virus (CGMMV) remains unknown. In this study, we demonstrated that exogenous treatment can effectively control CGMMV infection. The greatest effect was achieved 3 days root irrigation at concentration 50 μM. showed preventive therapeutic effects against early stage tobacco cucumber. We...
Abstract Eight hundred and forty‐six Chinese adolescents were surveyed concerning sleep behaviours including Insomnia, nightmares, somniloquism, somnambulism, bruxism, enurcsis. Bruxism was reported most frequently (22%) followed by somniloquism (17%) insomnia (14.9%). Subjects compared sex, age, rearing parents or parent surrogates. Crass cultural comparisons the possible significance of findings are discussed.
During the past 2 decades, there has been a rapid proliferation of "health examination center (HEC)" across China. The effects their services on public's health have not systemically investigated. This study aimed to assess impact periodic (PHE) at HEC surgical treatment for uterine fibroids in Beijing residents. We identified 224 patients with primary diagnosis who had four Level-1 general hospitals Beijing, from June 1, 2009 October 20, 2009. Controls were women did surgery fibroids,...
Abstract We previously documented that the Ca V 3.3 isoform of T-type calcium channels (T-channels) is inhibited by clinically relevant concentrations volatile anaesthetics, including isoflurane. However, little understood about functional role in anaesthetic-induced hypnosis and underlying neuronal oscillations. To address this issue, we used knock-out (KO) mice a panselective T-channel blocker 3,5-dichloro- N...
Abstract Barley yellow dwarf viruses (BYDVs) cause significant economic losses on barley, wheat, and oats worldwide. 17-kDa protein (17K) of BYDVs plays a key role in viral infection plants, whereas the underlying regulation mechanism 17K virus remains elusive. In this study, we determined that BYDV-GAV, most common species found China recent years, was involved pathogenicity. To identify host factors interacting with 17K, full length coding sequence cloned into pGBKT7 to generate bait...
Cucurbit chlorotic yellows virus (CCYV) is a cucurbit-infecting crinivirus. RNA silencing can be initiated as plant defense against viruses. Viruses encode various suppressors to counteract antiviral silencing. P22 protein encoded by RNA1 of CCYV suppressor, but its mechanism action remains unclear. In this study, the cucumber ribosomal-like CsRPS21 was found interact with in vitro and vivo . A conserved domain indispensable for nuclear localization interaction P22. Transient expression...
Background: Depression and anxiety are common psychological conditions in end-stage renal disease (ESRD) patients contribute to poor quality of life increased mortality. Six Sigma methodology is a novel method hospital management. The aim the present study was determine whether could reduce incidence depression ESRD patients. Methods: undergoing hemodialysis from March 2018 February 2020 were enrolled study. They divided into control group or according they received conventional nursing care...
This study aimed to investigate the clinical efficacy of temporary ligation bilateral uterine arteries during laparoscopy combined with hysteroscopy in treatment caesarean scar pregnancy (CSP).This was a retrospective analysis 83 patients who had initially undergone for CSP between 2012 and 2018 at Xiamen Women Children's Hospital. Patients were assigned group or no according whether they underwent arteries. Factors extracted from database included general preoperative information, surgical...
