This work presents a study of industrially applicable techniques to obtain biologically supported carbon dioxide capture system, based on the extraction carbonic anhydrase from bovine blood. Carbonic is metalloenzyme which catalyzes reversible hydration dioxide. The objective this was establish conditions erythrocytes and apply it in To achieve this, two different purification were evaluated: one by with organic solvents chloroform ethanol, where solvent proportions studied; other ammonium...
Abstract C‐phycocyanin, a natural blue dye, stands out today because it has antioxidant, anti‐inflammatory, and anti‐tumor properties, can be extracted from cyanobacteria, such as the genus Spirulina . A process that received attention is adsorption of proteins in presence biomass by fluidized bed, particularly an expanded bed. Therefore, this study aimed at purifying C‐phycocyanin ion exchange chromatography bed with two different resins (Streamline Q XL Streamline DEAE) comparing...
In the present study, an innovative cultivation strategy of Rhodotorula mucilaginosa CCT 7688 to accumulate both lipids and high added value carotenoids was proposed, with potential contribute economic feasibility microbial oils in comparison vegetable oils. The stepwise fed-batch crude glycerol feeding at 24 h, 96 144 addition magnesium initial culture medium, resulted a lipid content 51.0 ± 0.3 % CDW, biomass concentration 21.00 0.48 g L-1, total production 10.72 0.18 productivity 0.037...
Microalgal biomass is a potentially attractive source of several bioproducts, such as carbonic anhydrase, the enzyme responsible for catalyzing reversible hydration CO2. This biomolecule has been studied its application in enzymatic systems CO2 capture and sequestration. Therefore, aims this study were to evaluate production anhydrase culture marine freshwater microalgae monitor growth terms pH. The Dunaliella tertiolecta, Tetraselmis suecica, Phaeodactylum tricornutum, Isochrysis galbana...
A purification technique to obtain keratinolytic proteases produced by Bacillus sp. P45 in a medium containing chicken feather meal as substrate is presented. The experiments were carried out dead-end ultrafiltration unit, and the influence of membrane cutoff, pH enzymatic extract, operating pressure on keratinase studied. one-step process with molecular mass cutoff 10 kDa at 8.0 0.147 MPa showed an enzyme recovery 87.8% 4.1-fold factor. It that could be potentially used keratinases.
Abstract The simultaneous production of carbonic anhydrase and the phycobiliproteins, C‐phycocyanin allophycocyanin, was evaluated during cultivation Spirulina platensis using Zarrouk's medium in its non‐diluted (100 % ZM) diluted to 20 (v/v) (20 forms. In both media, simultaneously produced phycobiliproteins. For phycobiliproteins’ production, higher concentrations (mg/g) allophycocyanin were obtained when 100 ZM used. (U/g) on 6 th day culture media. promoted greater productions these...
The objective of this work was to evaluate the composition culture medium for production enzyme β-galactosidase from Kluyveromyces marxianus CCT 7082 using an experimental design. Enzyme carried out in a consisting cheese whey, corn steep liquor (CSL) and Prodex-lac® yeast hydrolyzate. A factorial fractional design (25-1) performed determine significant variables enzyme. Different concentrations lactose present whey (10-70 g L-1), CSL (10-100 Prodex-lac (40-20 (NH4)2SO4 (0-10 L-1) pH (5-7)...
