This study investigates the impacts of global economic policy uncertainty (GEPU) and domestic (Chinese) (CEPU) on long-run volatility tourism stock market in China based an improved GARCH–MIDAS–X model. Empirical results reveal that both CEPU GEPU have significant negative effects China’s market. It is further identified impact companies’ performance short-lived.
