Background: Filler injection has become an extremely popular method for facial skin rejuvenation, including the periorbital area. In recent years, new polynucleotide (PN)-containing filler products have been used esthetic purposes.Aim: We aimed to investigate efficacy and safety of PN in area.Patients/methods: A total 27 subjects were enrolled this randomized, pair-matched, active-controlled study. Each subject received injections thrice with two-week intervals, a on one side non-crosslinked...
The authors innovated the levator aponeurosis and Muller muscle plication reinforced with sheath advancement (AMPSA) for blepharoptosis correction. orbital septum was opened 1 mm above its fusion aponeurosis. preaponeurotic fat retracted thickened part of identified. Two sutures were made: medial suture at border pupil lateral between limbus. A needle 6-0 nylon thread first bit tarsal plate approximately below upper border, then together 3 to 6 plate. tied. total 116 eyes operated on using...
It has long been believed that histamine is associated with cutaneous melanogenesis. Specifically, H2-receptor antagonists reportedly inhibit melanogenesis, but H1-receptor antagonists, which are some of the most commonly prescribed medicines in dermatology, have not studied to determine whether and how they regulate Therefore, we screened melanogenesis found loratadine was particularly effective, this regard without compromising cellular viability. Loratadine downregulated...
Anti-programmed cell death-1 (PD-1) immunotherapy using antibodies such as nivolumab or pembrolizumab has shown promise for treating various types of cancer. In this study, we reviewed the frequency and spectrum cutaneous adverse events (AEs) caused by PD-1 their possible correlation with treatment response. We records all patients from a single institution treated either August 1, 2014 to April 2017.Of 211 included in 134 (63.5%) were 77 (36.5%) pembrolizumab. Thirty-five (16.4%) developed...
This study evaluated the safety and efficacy of biodegradable microstructure patches composed cross-linked hyaluronic acid (CLHA). A primary skin irritation test showed that CLHA were not an irritant, whereas a clinical application single significantly improved hydration at periorbital region for 3 days nasolabial fold 6 days. Patch also superficial wrinkles 1 day. The absence side effects indicated these is both safe convenient moisturization anti-wrinkle effects.
Abstract Background There have been few studies using hyaluronic acid fillers to restore mid‐face volume deficit especially in Asians. Aims This study compared the efficacy and safety of two highly cohesive fillers, Neuramis® Volume Lidocaine Juvederm® Voluma® with (VYC‐20L), for temporary restoration Patients/Methods A total 88 subjects moderate severe age‐related on Mid‐Face Deficit Scale (MFVDS) received one side VYC‐20L other face. Response was defined as a ≥1 point reduction MFVDS at 24...
Extrinsic aging of the skin caused by ultraviolet (UV) light or particulate matter is often manifested hyperpigmentation due to increased melanogenesis in senescent skin. Ursodeoxycholic acid (UDCA), which has been commonly used as a health remedy for liver diseases, known possess antioxidant properties. This study was done investigate whether UDCA inhibits cellular processes cells constituting human and it reduces melanin synthesis. ROS, intracellular signals, IL-1α, IL-8, TNF-α,...
Partial unilateral lentiginosis (PUL) is a rare acquired circumscribed hyperpigmentation characterized by multiple simple lentigines involving half of the body. Since previous studies PUL were mostly based on case reports and current literature lacks well-designed retrospective that involve large number cases, not well-defined entity, differential diagnosis with nevus spilus still difficult. This study aims to evaluate clinical histopathological characteristics treatment outcomes head neck...

Extraskeletal osteosarcoma (ESOS) is a rare mesenchymal soft-tissue neoplasm that accounts for approximately 1% of all sarcomas. Over 70% these malignant tumor progress to local recurrence and metastasis. It commonly metastasizes the lungs, lymph nodes, bone, skin has poor survival outcome. Cutaneous metastasis exceedingly known be sign widespread metastases.
