Onion (Allium cepa L.) is an important vegetable crop widely grown for diverse culinary and nutraceutical properties. Being a shallow-rooted plant, it prone to drought. In the present study, transcriptome sequencing of drought-tolerant (1656) drought-sensitive (1627) onion genotypes was performed elucidate molecular basis differential response drought stress. A total 123206 139252 transcripts (average transcript length: 690 bases) were generated after assembly 1656 1627, respectively....
Abstract Scaffold/matrix attachment regions (S/MARs) are DNA elements that serve to compartmentalize the chromatin into structural and functional domains. These involved in control of gene expression which governs phenotype also plays role disease biology. Therefore, genome-wide understanding these holds great therapeutic promise. Several attempts have been made toward identification S/MARs genomes various organisms including human. However, a comprehensive map human is yet not available....
Epithelial-to-mesenchymal transition (EMT) triggers cell plasticity in embryonic development, adult injured tissues and cancer. Combining the analysis of EMT lines, neural crest mouse models renal fibrosis breast cancer, we find that there is not a cancer-specific program. Instead, cancer cells dedifferentiate bifurcate into two distinct segregated cellular trajectories after activating either embryonic-like or adult-like EMTs to drive dissemination inflammation, respectively. We show SNAIL1...
Activator Protein 2 gamma (AP-2γ) is a master transcription factor that plays critical role in the development and progression of breast cancer. However, underlying mechanism still unclear.Herein, using proteomics approach, we identified Tripartite motif-containing 37 (TRIM37) as novel coactivator AP-2γ-mediated cancer cells. We demonstrate TRIM37 facilitates AP-2γ chromatin binding to directly regulate mediated transcriptional program. We also show achieves this by stimulating K63 chain-linked...
The Epithelial to Mesenchymal transition (EMT) triggers cell plasticity in embryonic development, adult injured tissues, and cancer. Here, we provide a step-by-step protocol prepare single-cell RNAseq libraries frommousemodels of renal fibrosis breast We further detailed workflowfordifferent analyses used tocharacterise theEMTprogrammeas assessed fromsingle-celltranscriptomes, reconstruct EMT trajectories, predict theEMT-associatedmolecular programmes
Abstract Indian lotus ( Nelumbo nucifera ) is one of the dominant aquatic plants cultivated in Dal Lake, situated at 1586 m above MSL northeast Srinagar, Kashmir. Despite their economic and ecological role, microbial communities associated with plant are still unexplored. In this study, we investigated prokaryotic harboured by different microhabitats (roots, rhizome, leaves, flowers fruits), lake water, sediments using 16S rRNA gene amplicon sequencing. Overall, diversity decreased...
